Bio Photo Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.

It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.

I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

James Wagg of Auburn
Hi,

The history of Androscoggin Co, specifically Danville, says this man was from Cape Elizabeth. You have him as born in Brighton, England. Can you check this? Do I have the wrong James Wagg?

Thanks,
Diana Nelson

I see on Find a grave, that Frederick Davis' children are all on the Site, but are not linked to each other. How does that go about getting done?

Hi Sue, I do not keep a record of edits. Not sure what I sent you that could have been wrong. He died in Leeds, son of Eben and Sarah Libby?-- Amy

RE: Matthias Gagnon
That picture is exactly the reason I sponsored him. What a kind looking man he was.
