For those who check their "edits" often, thank you!
Numbers is not my thing - just enjoying what I am doing!! I began family history in 1962, so it has been a long journey finding many connections to my clan and others in Etowah County. "Everyone deserves to be remembered"
The only time I add an "overview" photo to someone else memorial is to show location which is a great help in finding a marker in a large area and/or to add data on the photo caption. Please note that photos are not always good due to the time of day of photo and some are old markers in poor condition which need cleaning, etc., but they are worth a view to someone searching for an ancestor. Some are poor quality photos posted, but it would take a long time to redo them all.
I find more and more memorials posted in the wrong cemetery. Too, there are so many cremations and memorials posted in cemeteries where cemetery staff state there is no burial in their cemetery. Perhaps, those cremations should be posted "unknown" until the family or friends determine where the ashes were placed. This would save local FAG volunteers walking the grounds looking for grave markers that do not exist.
