I have spent many years researching different branches of my family. I think Find a Grave is a great resource and I like to help.

I visit the cemetery and take pictures for all the memorials that I create. I try to take good photos with a good camera -not a cell phone- but it is not always possible because of the conditions, etc., to get a great picture.

If you get a better picture than mine, don't hesitate to let me know and I will remove my picture. I prefer to have only the best photo of a tombstone on the site in order to allow space for family to add family photos if they wish.

If a memorial I have added is part of your family, I will be happy to transfer.

James

RE: Faltejsek family
Thank you for the transfers.
Memorial# 97744659
Memorial# 97479980
Memorial# 97479913

And if you have no family relation to these others I will take them also:
Memorial# 97994595
Memorial# 119773601

They are extended family but I will maintain them until someone more directly wants them. I would like to attach parentage to them.

Thank you for creating them.

RE: Faltejsek family
Thank you for your reply many ages ago! Yes, this is my Father's paternal grandmother's family. There are actually two mothers of all those children with 1880 being the dividing point. I would appreciate it if you transferred the memorials - thank you!

Photo permission
Hello. Thank you for your efforts at Find A Grave. I'm writing to ask for your permission to use your headstone photos of my family members with my public family tree at Ancestry.com. You and Find A Grave would be credited. The one I'm looking at is for Charles Louis Lester Johnson (No. 61942665), but there might be others. Please reference Charles Johnson when responding. Thanks again. -- Randall McCoach, Albuquerque, N.M., MyCatCyd@yahoo.com

Mrs. Frank (Emily) Kresta
I found a news article taken from the Shiner Gazette (Shiner, Texas) Vol. 16. No. 34 Ed 1. Thursday, April 1, 1909. The Portal to Texas History .

Mrs. Frank Kresta, Sr. died at her home Sunday, March 14 at 8 p.m. after a lingering illness. Her remains were committed to the earth Tuesday in the Praha Catholic cemetery. She leaves a husband and several children to mourn her demise. We extend condolence to the bereaved ones. May she rest in peace.

Mary Hemphill
Yes, the photo belongs to a different memorial:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Hemphill&GSiman=1&GScid=2332715&GRid=85636662&

I got the name order (Bertha Mary vs. Mary Bertha) from the death certificate.
