Bio Photo After a very dear friend passed away in my life about 19 years ago I decided that I need to get serious about my family history. So off I went and I have been running full steam shaking each branch of my tree!

I noticed your interest in the Lamb family. Just a note to let you know I added this memorial with photographs of the individual and family stones located in the Breckenridge Cemetery. If you have any bio information or family links, please let me know. Have a blessed day.

You will want to go to Memorial# 47289542 for Zula Nordhaus and correct your flower -- I bet!

RE: Frances Anne Cheatwood Hays
Thanks for your response. In researching, I found a document from the Sons of the American Revolution that indicates that Frances was indeed born in Virginia. Thanks for catching that and updating her information. I am a descendant of Frances and William Hays. One other question for you. I noticed that there is a William Hays Cemetery and a Hays cemetery both located in Warren County. Are they in fact two different cemeteries? I visited the Hays cemetery back in the late 1990s but wasn't aware of the William Hays cemetery at that time. Thanks again.

Melton Creek Cemetery, Newton, TX
I contacted the local historical society and they said there wasn't a Melton Creek Cemetery in Newton, TX. Thought I would let you know what I found out since you submitted some entries.

I see that you have put the interment of people at Melton Creek Cemetery, Newton, TX. I am looking for information on Alexander B Skinner and his wife Sarah Belk Skinner. I have requested a photo of the tombstone if there is one. Do you remember if any stones were there for the above people?

RE: Western Cemetery
Nahm,
Don't worry about the trip. The site originator for Albin has changed the date of death for Albin Mellier based on the fact that she got the info from a 1929 list, that he was from Lyon, France and that the cemetery didn't exist in 1811. This man was an employer of my grx3 grandfather. My grx3 gf built and captained steamboats for Mr. mellier. After Mr Mellier died in 1841 my grx2 grandfather moved the family to Iowa where he continued to built boats. During the Civil War he and his children continued on to Oregon. My grx2 grandfather was named for Mr Mellier's oldest son, Amedee.

Thanks for the info. I will most likely be there next June and will go to look if I am able. Do you recall if ther are any staff at the site?

Western Cemetery
Hello,
Are you near the Weateen Cemetery in Louisville. I am looking into the burial location for Albin Mellier who dies in Louisville in 1841 on his return trip from Texas to PA. If you go or that cemetery could you check the death dare for Mr. Mellier. I believe that his death date is incorrectly shown on Find A Grave as 1811. The cemetery was founded I believe in the 1830s so it would follow that he was buried there after that date.
Thank you for any help.
