We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.|
Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.
If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.
Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.
I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.
I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.
For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.
Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.
Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

Would it be possible for you to transfer this memorial plus the adjacent memorial(Patsy Anita Dickenson Webster) to me? They are my grandparents. I am the person who posted the WW II picture of my "Daddo". I am involved in a huge scanning project and may be able to help you with many other memorials there in the Melissa Cemetery.

Hello, I am the step great niece of Connie Elizabeth Brents Miller. Her husband was Thomas Samuel Miller. Both are buried in Tye Cemetery in Tye, Texas. I knew her personally as I lived with her and cared for her when she lived with my stepmother Annie Louise Brents Brazell and my father Hobert V Brazell in Tye, Texas until she was moved to the nursing home in Abilene Texas. Her parents names listed here are slightly incorrect. Her father's name was John Franklin BRENTS who was married to Mollie Brownlee. Mary could have been her mother's middle name. Please edit and add the last name of Brents to John Franklin because it shows that Connie's maiden name to be Franklin, not Brents. That little detail is important. Her maiden name should be Brents, not Franklin. My step mother did have her birth certificate and death certificate at one time but after the death of Annie Louise Brents Brazell in 1999 the records were lost. I did see her birth certificate and her maiden name was Brents. She was a teacher and went by the last name of Brents until she retired from teaching and married Thomas Miller. Thank you. Rebecca Brazell-Woodall.
