Hello, My husband and I have been working on his family ancestry, and in the process, have included some of my family. Most of them are from the Chicago area by way of Sweden, so I don't have grave pictures of some of them. I have taken numerous pictures of Grave Markers. We have really been enjoying this and hope to have more pictures and Cemetaries to add, in the near future. |
As a few of you know, I have been out of pocket on doing any work to add to f-a-g-, due to a bad back and recently back surgery, my second,in June 09 and recently hernia surgery that had complications, and had second surgery in Feb 2010. Hopefully I will soon be able to get back to visiting Cemetaries and taking pictures, again.
If you find anything incorrect or out of place, please email me and I will do my best to correct the problem.
Blessings to all.
Bay Minette Cemetery

I completely understand, Bonnie. "Somewhere" I have an interesting news article on one of the Coxwell sons of GB & Emaline...It goes into his farming efforts in Ala. and how he was instrumental in helping solve the boll weevil problem. (I think, but dont quote me, it was Henry Jackson the article was about...Had his picture and all too!) Those Coxwell men are some kind of handsome, arent they? LOL (But, dont tell my brother-in-law I said that... as it was, his head wouldnt fit under a hat last time I saw him! I'd hate to see it get any bigger! LOL) Feel free to email me directly or to just take my email and record it for future reference...it is sullied1960 at gmail dot com.
I hope you are recovering nicely from your health setbacks and that you will be back in the saddle again soon! hugs, always, cindy

Hi, Bonnie...thanks for making links on the coxwells...They are double related to me, although not by blood, in that my sister married a living coxwell and also that my great-grandfather and one uncle married Coxwell sisters. I do have a good deal of info, but like most...it goes back to Emily and Greenberry. (I tried to track the Rowland family but only managed to get her Parents documented...nothing more.)
I moved a few years ago and still have packed alot of info...including photos and newspaper clippings. I hope to find them soon again and post some of it. I find their history fascinating. I have gotten a bit overwhelmed and "off-track" since joining findagrave again. But am slowly working to enter what information I have on so many families of clarke co, washington co, and choctaw counties in ala., as well as wayne co. in ms.
I look forward to communicating with you in the future...no doubt we will cross paths many times! Thanks again, Bonnie! Sincerely, cindy
I have transferred a memorial into your care. I hope you don't mind. You had created her relative. I like to care for direct relatives.
