Feel free to use any of the pictures I've added. I visit cemeteries when I can for the love of it, not the recognition on findagrave by adding pictures and claiming 'copyright'. What upsets me are the 'don't copy' people with poor quality pictures. If you're so proud of them make sure they're perfect. Yes, I've spent, time, gas and had many aches and pains to take pictures but I don't believe that gives me the right to deny the use of my pictures (especially for family trees) since a majority of the time I'm not related. I'll transfer any memorial I've created except the ones related to me personally. I'm disturbed by the FAG guidelines of transfer and that some members are so hardcore about them. I have a great-aunt and an uncle that had no children and a member will not transfer them to me even though they manage over 75,000 memorials and are not related. Guess numbers mean more to some people. Use a little common sense people.|
Please do not automatically transfer a memorial to me just because I sent an edit. Ask me if I want to manage the memorial.
Please do not contact me unless you have a return address. I've received a few requests to delete duplicate memorials from members with no contact information and the memorials were not added by me. I have no problem with this if the duplicates are mine. Make sure you give a memorial number or I won't delete my entry.
I wish FAG members would stop adding memorials for someone without naming a cemetery, this is not a site for adding your family tree and often incorrect information is passed on.
My daughter and I are researching African American WWI Veterans in 11 East Texas counties. I would love to hear from any family members of these forgotten heroes. The counties are Anderson, Harrison, Houston, Jasper, Lamar Nacogdoches, Orange,Rusk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker.

|Kucelire||You are right -|
About the wording for the memorial for Edward Buchanan (Findagrave memorial number 16600641). Do you have any other information about him that can be added?
If you don't, then I am inclined to just remove the last paragraph Mr. Buchanan served honorably and well, and that may be all we need to say.

Do you know who to contact to get into the McGuire Cemetery in Walker County. Seaborn McGuire is my great great great grandfather.
|RFB Jenkins||Walter H Evans|
Thank you for the additional information.
I completely agree with you concerning the guidelines. I have several 1st cousins, aunts, uncles, a step-daughter and son-in-law who are being managed by strangers and the contributors refuse to update their memorials or transfer them to me.
Do you know who has key to Dean main cemetery gate?
Loads of thanks for adding the World War I service information to Mr. Spivey's memorial. I appreciate YOU all ALL that you do in the preservation of history.

Howdy - I've updated Mr. Morgan's biographical information per your request.
Thanks - Jeff

Hi, I don't mind your using the photo, but I would like to get a better one for you. If your use of it is not time-sensitive, if you wouldn't mind waiting for about a week, I'll take another and post it or send it to you. Please let me know if that's ok. Thank you.

Thanks for sending the additional information for his bio. After being a bit under the weather, I'm trying to get caught up on emails. Sorry it has taken this long. . .
