We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.|
Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.
If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.
Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.
I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.
I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.
For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.
Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.
Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

|Linda Warman Sims||Mary Bacon Miller|
Yes, that is her father Peter H.Bacon WWI draft info, his WWII and death record has birth year 1892. He was buried in Forest Park Cemetery ,Houston.Although he has a military marker application, as far as I can tell he has not been entered on findagrave. There are several cemeteries by this name in Houston, I don't know which is his . Blanche Warman Stockman is likely buried in Bear Creek cemetery but is unmarked.
You have done a great job on her Bio! I would only add that her grandmother, Sarah Warman, is #113248502 Thank you so sincerely .
|Shonda Baird||Elizabeth "Betty" Rominger (8692193)|
Would you please consider a transfer of this memorial to me? Betty Rominger is my aunt. I would consider it such an honor to maintain her page. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

|Bailey Boy||Trent Biddle Memorial|
Hi Richard. The information you have for Trent Biddle (Find A Grave Memorial# 35607409) is actually for his father - not him.
|Pat Ruiz||Frank Dee Long|
Birth: May 26, 1928
Death: Dec. 23, 1991
Thelma Gertrude Woodhouse (1913 - 2008)
Note: double stone with Thelma G Woodhouse
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery
Plot: Section 13
I believe Thelma Gertrude Woodhouse was Frank's sister, not his wife. He had a sister, Thelma, b. abt 1914 and seems a more likely explanation.

Would it be possible for you to transfer this memorial plus the adjacent memorial(Patsy Anita Dickenson Webster) to me? They are my grandparents. I am the person who posted the WW II picture of my "Daddo". I am involved in a huge scanning project and may be able to help you with many other memorials there in the Melissa Cemetery.
