Bio and Links
Bio Photo We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.

Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.

Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.

If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.

Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.

I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.

I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.

For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.

Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.

Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

Asa & Sallie Eads parents of Sherrod Eads
Hello, I was the creator of Memorials #s 131608835 Asahel 'Asa' Eads and 131608961 Sarah 'Sallie' Adkins Eads, both of these Memorials have been deleated as I have been so lucky in searching for their actual burial locations, Neither memorial had any 'guest flower' attached. I have updated the necessary info (i.e.- the 'new parents') to your memorial on the edit page. Thank You very much for the opportunity and pleasure in creating their pages- Walter McLeod

Gertrude A. Combest daugh of Damaris Combest

We have searched & searched for some time for some kind of record where my husband's grandm, Gertrude Combest, is mentioned as a child of James & Damaris Combest & she finally turned up in the 1880 Census in their family, as Gillie. She was born in 1871 & died in 1953. We would be very grateful if you would add her to the family here.
Thx very much!

Hestser Scott Hendrickson
Find A Grave 6613794 according to the Tenn marriage records, CC Hendrickson married Hester Jane Starnes and she was born in Oct 1867. I think you have the wrong maiden name for Hester and wrong birthdate

Arthur C. Cantrell - # 6506974
Hi, Richard. I ran across this man listed with the wrong relatives. He is not the son and sibling of the CANTREll's listed. I haven't been able to find out who he is related to.

The actual son is Arthur Oliver Cantrell (1868-1942), findagrave Memorial # 30017101. FamilySearch has his Death Certificate and shows him on the census with his parents, Cleveland R. Cantrell and Cordelia McGee, beginning in 1870. Arthur Oliver Cantrell is buried in Rowlett Creek Cemetery, Plano, Collin County, Texas, along with his parents and siblings.

When you have time, please unlink Arthur C. Cantrell from this family.

If you have any questions, you can email me at

My husband Cranston, J. Montgomery Died in 1973, and you only listed his mom and dad. I was married to Monty CJM, in 1969 and we also had a daughter, Christina Marie. I think this is so wrong to have omitted his wife and child on this obit!
