We can all do more helping each other than we can working alone.|
Working my way through entries I manage in Collin, Wise County and Clay County, Texas. I gained management of a large group of them just recently so is a work in progress.
Earthman Resthaven Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas is a "project" of sorts for me, I have added over 15,000 entries and pictures to this cemetery so far.
If additional information is offered, happy to update entries I manage. I like to connect entries to their spouse and parent's entries, makes it much easier to move around for everyone and adds value to the entry.
Primary lines: Hollis, Patterson, Maxwell, Davenport, Combest, Riggins, Hammonds, Peck, Dick. But am collecting data on all associated surnames.
I love pictures, it brings a little life to these "dead" names on paper we work on every day. smile....Concerning the pictures I post to the Findagrave website, we have to make them smaller to fit on the webpage which means you can't zoom in on the picture to pick up details. If this is case on one you need, write me, I'll try to find the original and send it to you.
I choose to follow Findagrave guidelines for transfer, which can be found on the Findagrave FAQ page, but in summary.
I transfer your ancestors or your descendants or your siblings unless they are my ancestors as well, but remember your grandfather's sister's nephew is not your ancestor....I accept they are part of your family, but let's keep it your ancestors, your siblings or your descendants.
For updates or connections, please the "Suggest a correction" feature on an entry for update or transfer, this gives me a shortcut to the entry as well as sending me the correction you wish made. Typically, I will get the update or connection done the same or next day unless I am out of town.
Please don't make duplicates of existing entries, it is confusing to us all, having said that if I have made a duplicate it was an accident, please advise me so I can get it fixed either by deletion or having findagrave merge the 2 entries to preserve flowers or connections.
Some findagravers insist on having multiple surnames in the surname field because of several marriages, please use the surname they died with as it makes a search for them nigh on to impossible otherwise.

Are you positive her maiden name was Harris? I have a marriage to Franklin Webb and Mary F HAYNES in 1877. Of course it could be transcribed wrong. I'm hoping to get this settled in my mind. I am not a close relative, but they are in my tree. Thanks for your help.

|L. Patton||MARY GILLIKIN|
Do you know if Mary's husband was Levi Gillikin,Sr.
from N.C.? Appreciate any info you can give me.
|Peggy Goodwin||Ben sweet|
Thank u for the transfer. Really appreciate it.
|Glenn and Tracy Morrow||Huson Cemetery|
How did you get Wil and Shelley to transfer the Graves to you? I tried for years and was always told no, even though I'm related and they weren't.
For one of my Grandpa's Brother you are shown as the person that maintains his site #6590337.
His first wife is Lucinda Ellen Taylor. She is the Mother of all their children:
Fannie Taylor Holloway #10471251
Lem Blackborn Taylor #10471699
Hugh Hubert Taylor #1047691
Can you make the corrections to show Lucinda Ellen Taylor as their Mother ?
I am still trying to locate his first wife Lucinda Ellen Taylor but haven't so far been able to find her maiden name.
And perhaps transfer their sites to me?
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Bonnie Taylor Dowell
Are you kin to the Hollis families in the Walker co., Texas area?
Richard, I saw your note that a volunteer said they could not get to his area to take a photo. They were not experienced in this mausoleum. If you will request a photo again, I will get it for you in the next few weeks. James
|Carol ||Mary Louise Kilgore Eldridge|
She is in my tree. She married Dr. William B. Eldridge.
Could you transfer her to me?
Thanks, Carol 47303245

|James Coston||Hugh Brawley, Maxwell Cemetery, Tx.|
You have had a request in on him for 2 1/2 years, just checking to see if it is still valid.
I was at the Maxwell Cemetery over the weekend to see what I could find. Here is my discovery !!
= = = = = =
There are (3) burials in that plot.
The far right: Jewell, son of H.E. & T.T.
Middle: Tennie, wife of H.E.
Far left: Depression reveals a burial at that location. I am one of those people that has the ability to locate buried remains and distinguish between adult, infant, child, male or female.
There is an ADULT MALE buried beside Tennie.
There are no other remains within' a 10 ft radias of that plot.
Logic dictates that is the burial location for her husband.
I wanted to run this by you before I selected your request and put it on the record.
Let me know your thoughts, Later, James Coston
I love your photograph of you and the "boys"
at the beach! Aww, so precious. Indeed, it
really does make one smile.
