RE: Pool
I also have newspaper clipping .

Here is what Mary Dennis had to say:

The following is a e-mail response I received from Mary Dennis on a query about Green and his son being shown in the Dallas County Jail in the 1920 Dallas County Census.

Yes, Green and Ike were in jail in Dallas. I have some newspaper articles on what happened, but the family had some different versions. I do beleive they were railroaded.

Green Rasberry was later released from prison when balistics became known about. My husband and I searched and searched the jail and prison records and we found nothing. We was told that when a prisoner is found innocent that all records are removed from their records. They were share croppers and they got in a fued with the owner about his pigs getting in Green’s crop. They had a shoot out with the owner and the owner’s wife was killed, but was later proved not to be Green’s gun. Ike was real young boy and he never went to prison, just the jail in Dallas. In one of the newspaper articles it was sad how they escaped through the night. The Pool lady that was killed was related to a judge and that didn't help.

RE: Pool
Green Irvin Rasberry

Do you have any proof that G. I. committed the murder of Ethel Irene Yandle Pool? Was he ever charged with the murder?

Thanks,
Terry Rasberry
