|My wife and I have been doing genealogy research on both of our families since we retired in 1990. |
My lines include (McKay, Cobb, Long, Matney, George, Benefield, Latch). All of my family lines were in the U.S. as far back as I can trace (early 1700's). My sirname migrated from VA to OK via TN, GA, AL, and AR. On my mothers side they migrated from OH to OK via IL and MO.
My wife's lines include:(Skaggs, Gilreath). Her family migrated from KY, SC, and GA to OK. We are willing to share any information we have.
We also take cemetery photos of our family stones as well as for tombstones for cemeteries in our area.

|Georgia Calder||thank you|
Thank you for all the research you have put on here about the McKays. John Troit was my grandfather. I have been trying to trace our family tree and have found he was the youngest of 10 children. This memorial to him is how my research began. So again, thank you.
Could you please transfer some of the Callas' to me? My father, Paul Callas #52918723. My grandfather, Andrew Callas #52918699. My Aunt, #52930520.
Please let me know if you need any further information.
First of all, I am in awe of all the work you have done to put those many, many gravesites on Find A Grave. It is so nice to have folks willing to do that. It means a lot to those of us that are searching for loved ones' graves.
I am searching for Eliza Rix.(died around 1899) She was married to Hiram Rix and is the daughter of John and Prudence Cumby Lester. I found Prudence and Hiram, but having no luck with Eliza. Also, I have tried to see the death certificate of John Lester at www.wallercountyhistory.com but have not been able to do so. Can you help? Thanks and again great appreciation for all your work.

Can you give me any information On James Bedford Cobb? I see you listed him in Nettleton Cem in Jonesboro... do you know where his grave is located? I am his granddaughter. Thanks, Bonnie
Sorry for bothering you again. Also could you connect James t. Yeats (Find A Grave Memorial# 7428280) and Mandy J. Yeats (Find A Grave Memorial# 7428278) together and then their children:
Harmon Yeats (Find A Grave Memorial# 7428424) Daniel C. Yeats (Find A Grave Memorial# 7428283)
Jessie Marvin Yeats: (Find A Grave Memorial# 59777859)
Dr. Eddie M. Yeats: (Find A Grave Memorial# 7968471)
or if possible transfer them to me and I can do all the connections need. I am the granddaughter of T.B. and Delphia Yeats. And have the time to do all connections. I appreciate the work you have done with this site and truly thank its a great way to be able to trace family roots.
Again thank you very much,
Good evening. I was wondering if you could link Bessie and Harmon Yeats together and also T.B.Yeats to them. T.B. Yeats is their son.

That's fine. Thank you for the trouble. I will let you know when I find his father, brother, and half brother. Again, I apologize for the duplication. Also, his death date should be on the stone by now. It was arranged.
|Micki Carol Freels||Stokes|
I believe I have unwittingly duplicated 2 sites maintained by you by virtue of their middle names and I apologize for the mistake. I had already linked them as spouses as well as linking him with his mother. If you would please let me know if you would rather continue to maintain sites for William Gaither "Bill" Stokes (Find A Grave Memorial# 84024288 and yours Find A Grave Memorial# 26683680) and his wife (Find A Grave Memorial# 84024770 and yours Find A Grave Memorial# 5758142)or transfer then I would be happy to maintain the transfer or remove mine. I apologize for the misunderstanding and inconvenience.

Memorial Lois Leland Feagin # 124166765 and Leland Lois Cobb Feagin # 54971771 are the same person. The last contains the photo of the gravestone.
Thank you for all that you do on findagrave.com and being the part of Waller Co. Genealogy Society.

|pierga||J. C. McDade|
I was doing some family research on the Find a Grave web site and I ran across a memorial for a J. C. McDade in a McDade Cemetery in Waller County. I have a family linkage to a Jacob Cobb McDade. When I compared the birth an death dates, they were similar but not exact. There are several potential things that could lead one to think these could be the same person.
1) Jacob Cobb McDade was married to Ann Cochran Henson who is buried in the Cochran Cemetery in Austin County not ten miles from the McDade Cemetery. There are other McDades buried in the Cochran Cemetery.
2) Jacob Cobb McDade was thought to be born March 5, 1839 and died July 24, 1867. J.C. McDade shows to be born March 25, 1832 and died July 24, 186?? (grave marker broken).
3) Jacob Cobb McDade was a Confederate soldier and could have been stationed at Camp Groce.
If there is any other information concerning the J. C. McDade in Waller County, maybe a match can be obtained and a mystery solved.
