Just a friend!|
Please understand that I have no control over the names, words and dates engraved on stones, written on death certificates or provided in obituaries. I didn't write them. I'm only providing those previously written words to you.
I have been a contributor on this site for over 14 years, so yes it stands to reason that I have a fair number of memorials that I have entered, added to and lovingly care take even though they may not be a branch of my own family. It's quite possible that if I had not entered the memorial to begin with, you may not have been able to find them.
Individuals using this site need to realize that we are all volunteers and do not need to deal with abusive behavior or rudeness just because we won't make a transfer to someone who has registered two days or two months ago and want every memorial on the site with the surname of Jones. Or a transfer of a memorial of someone who they think just might be a fifth cousin, four times removed of their third ex-husband.
If you are new to this site, PLEASE read the "Frequently Asked Questions" located "HERE". If you take just a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines, it will definitely help yours and everyone else's state of mind, blood pressure and headaches.
If you will please use the "Edit" tab located on each memorial, I will be more than happy to correct, edit or add information to a memorial that is meaningful. I will not add all of the information from the past ten census records that have been released or any distasteful or disturbing messages.
Please be kind. We all make mistakes from time to time. If I have made a mistake or created a duplicate memorial later than one you have created, please use the "Edit" tab and send me the correction or let me know of the duplication and it will be taken care of quickly.
I will make transfers using the "Guidelines" if they are not a relative of mine. I will transfer your children, siblings, parents, grandparents or great-grandparents. All other requested transfers will be considered if you use the "Edit" feature and state your relationship or intended need for the memorial.
Lastly and most importantly, there are so many absolutely wonderful people that use Find-A-Grave! I am very appreciative for all of the suggested corrections, additional information and photos that have been provided. Please don't allow the rude, abusive and sometimes rather bizarre behavior of individuals to curb your enthusiasm or your want to help others.

I see there is another cemetery photo; I requested permission from the second person.
|Sandra Scott||RE: Edward Freienmuth, Seguin, TX|
I already tried that to request permission to use the photo.
The person has messages disabled and I can't figure out how to send him a message.
Do you know how I can do that?

I would like to get permission to use the Riverside cemetery photo on my family website (see this link to see how I would use the photo: http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html) but the person who took the photo has his messages disabled.
Do you know how I might get permission to use this photo?
Thank you. Edward Freienmuth was my great uncle.

Joan, Thank you so much for the information regarding Daniel Oppenheimer and for making the changes to his memorial. I appreciate your help and prompt reply.
Best wishes, Chris

|Gerald Wright||Eugene McCutcheon|
First thanks for all the work you have done for so many years, it is a great resource for so many people.
Eugene McCutcheon is buried in the San Jose Burial Park, San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas, you created a memorial for him which is a duplicate of the entry for Eugene Pettis McCutcheon in the same cemetery. I would like to link some of his children but don't know which entry to point to. Can you help with this?

Thanks for the message.
I see you got the duplicate memorial merged in your name.
We run across all kinds on Find A Grave.
I just ran across someone who deliberately made duplicates memorials and would put women under their maiden names and change birth and death dates to try to not be found out.
I ran across someone who would just put someone in several cemeteries.
All I can go by is the date, so glad you got it taken care of.

According to her death certificate her father was James Alford and her mother was Martha Heathcock. Hope this helps in your research.

Would it be possible to tell me where the information came from about a G W Metzner Robinson on Find A Grave Memorial# 74943941? I remember a Metzner daughter married to a R W Robinson but never saw a child of Joseph's with the initials G W. Thanks for any information you can share.
Thank for the information for Alfred Gastiner and Augusta Meyer, I have added it to their memorial pages.
