Tom, I just found out that my great grandfather, Rudolph S Carpenter's (#141804026) parents were Israel & Levina Zimmerman, #'s 87024600 & 87024631.
I question spelling of Levina's maiden name. I have it as Levina Seiber, you have it Levinia Seber. Which is correct? Looks like only one "i" on headstone.

You're welcome, Tom! I love reading these out of print books on Ancestry, because they provide so much info!! I really enjoyed reading through J. H. BRYSON'S LANCASTER DIRECTORY for 1843, last night, that had many ads that were quite interesting! I'm still on the search for which Company in Lancaster, produced my late Grandmother's baby cup, given her in 1895, but it was made in 1851, in Lancaster, Pa. It states on the bottom, "Quadruple Plate". Any ideas?

I just signed up on findagrave and started looking around. A question: my mother's grandfather was a James Hensel, born in 1906, with a brother Warren W. They were both in the Cecil County 1920 census. James was buried at Cherry Hill(basically where I live in Cecil). I'm just wondering if it's certain that the James Hensek listed as a "calculated relationship" is the actual sibling of the Warren William you listed. Being new to this, not sure how to check the things for myself. Thanks!

Hi, Tom! I was just on Ancestry, reading Biographical Annals of Lancaster County, and discovered info on John and Rebecca Russel Hastings. (Rebecca-137859438). I proposed an edit for Rebecca's birthplace based on the article. Rebecca's Parents were my 4th GG. You can find the article on Ancestry, by searching Alexander Russel 1756-1799; Look for:
"Biographical annals of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania : containing biographical and genealogical sketches of prominent and repr„
Stories, Memories & Histories"

Thank you! I found the death certificates! Now I hope to find some clues about a sister, Anna, who moved to Cleveland, Ohio with other family members when she was young. The family was split up, probably when their mother, Sarah Towson Findley, died in 1867.

I was pleased to find your memorial for Benjamin Findley and both of his wives. I am searching for documentation that proves that Clara Findley McDougal and Grace E Findley Brown were the daughters of Benjamin and Sarah (Towson) Findley. You have Clara and Grace linked as children of Benjamin and Sarah, so I am hoping that you can point me in the right direction.
