Bio and Links
Bio Photo Pre-script -- My account has more than 5000 memorials, about 500 or 600 if these are family members for my husband and myself. I would be more than happy to transfer outside the "guidelines". Just ask. Any relation or friend situation. I am not a selfish person. Some findagrave folks treat memorials like baseball cards and horde them. For what end?! I say --- Guidelines, Schmidelines..... There would be less problems and bad feelings all around if there were more generosity. But if there were no guidelines, some people would never even learn how to do a transfer...... I put information on this site in the hopes that someone someday asks for a transfer of a great grand aunt or uncle or cousin. This just means that people are looking....Happy to help!

My first stop in a cemetery is any photo requests, then it is the small white markers with the little lambs; the ones that are slowly giving in to the elements. Next, Veterans from any war, especially the Civil War, they seem to be forgotten about. This summer has been spent on many a gravel road with map in hand looking for the small out of the way cemeteries in this area. Sometimes hubby comes along.

More than happy to transfer any family, except of course, my relatives. Gladly will make any corrections, additions or relationship links. The great thing about findagrave is so many helpful, friendly people adding pieces to the genealogy puzzle.

Cemetery Scavenger :)
RE: Photo requests :)
First off let me say, i LOVE your bio! That is honestly, 100% what I am trying to do too! I am looking for "off the path" small cemeteries with less people close by to photograph it.. I loved the part you put about how you go for the photo requests, then the little lamb graves, because I look for the little lambs too! And of course the ones that are falling apart or the teeny tiny grave markers, since they're easy to not see/get destroyed..
Anyways, I was recently at the Carrington Cemetery for the 30+ photo requests it has (by all means not a "small" cemetery, but with that many requests- I figured I'd take a stab at it!). I found your requested grave for "Allen Raymond Hall, Jr.". I uploaded the photos for him (one of headstone and one of his gravestone). I also found graves in the plot for Allen Hall Sr., George Hall and Edna Hall. I added photos to Allen Hall Sr.'s page and added pages for George and Edna. There was a George but with DOB and DOD that were MUCH earlier (almost a century earlier), so I played it safe and just added a different memorial page for him.
If you are interested in any transfers of the two pages I created, just let me know!

Thanks,
Stephanie

Gone But Not Forgotten
Thank you!
Kateb, Thank you! Thank you for all you do. I am glad to know you are still active in Find A Grave, for a while I thought maybe you took a vacation. ;-)
Glad to know you are still active. Without your generosity and volunteer work many would not know where to find their relatives.
So thank you, for all you do.

Kittil Ness in Skatvold Cemetery
I just found out that my great grandmother's brother is buried in Skatvold Cemetery in Polk County, MN. Is he a relative of yours or did you just make his memorial for me to find. We knew that he left Wisconsin in the 1890s to go to the Dakotas but that is all. Please let me know him. Thanks.
