I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.|
I am currently working on Calumet County, trying to get all cemeteries transcribed.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.
I do not take credit for many of the pictures I post here, they are given to me by fellow researchers who want them shared with family members.
If I have any pictures of your family members, you are welcome to use them.
Hint: click on the picture you want, and that will bring up a larger file, and then save it.
I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.
If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

Hi Rose - I just sent through an edit for Christ Head from this cemetery. All members buried herein with the surname "Head" should be edited to reflect their original surname of Schuddekoph. I suggest the following: Last Name: Head (Schuddekoph). This note is on the county transcription page and came from a relative of the family. "Koph" means "head". Thanks! None To Be Forgotten (Cindy)
PS - I sent through edits on each member to make it easier but thought you might question my reasoning.

I processed your suggestions for Ida Zuehl. I am not related to her. If you are related and would like me to transfer her to you, I would gladly do so.
Hi, thanks for your message! I am working off a cemetery register from the 1970s, but you're right. The date does seem off. I double checked the register and it does say a birthdate of 1815! If it's not raining tomorrow, I will run up the street and see if there is a headstone for accurate information.
Thank you so much for ALL you do!!!!
You have photographed many of my family's memorial stones! I've been up to visit and took a few myself BUT many more were missed.
Especially wonderful that you took the time to edit and add information. I had heard stories of my step grandfather's death but to be able to read the newspaper article was invaluable. Read it to my mother and shared with other family members. Thank you for all you do in caring form others.
