RE: Bertha Bryant (?-1970) -# 50599318
My grandmother was born, Bertha Nina Klink on 18 July 1892 in Lafayette, IN. Her parents were Jacob Friedrich (Fred) Klink and Ursula J. Schlenker (Schlinker), both German immigrants.

Bertha was married to Joseph Richard Cross and together they had the following children: Richard, James, Emma Louise (my mother), Joseph Junior, Josephine, Mary Jane, and Jack Cross.

My mother, at age 97, is the only one of her siblings still living.

After Bertha and Joe Cross divorced, she married a man named Leslie Bryant in 1932. They lived together, according to my mother, for a few years; then Leslie Bryant wanted to live in the Old Soldiers' Home but Bertha did not. She continued to live in Lafayette separately from Mr. Bryant, but they never bothered with a legal separation.

Could we arranged a transfer of this memorial.

Taffy Walker, daughter of Emma Louise Cross Walker of Lafayette, IN and granddaughter of Bertha Nina Klink Cross Bryant

I know nothing more about Mr. Bryant than this.
