Several years ago I started tracing as much of my family history and in turn, the information about the area where I live today, thus surfing right in to findagrave and now I'm hooked.
Photo request are great, but Collin County is huge. Please be kind and try to submit as much information as possible in your photo request look-ups. Heat, cold, rain, or snow... You can find my boys and I in the cemetery snapping photos.
I try to respond to all correction and transfer request however; please be patient as I work full-time and have a family. Please do not be afraid to ping me several times, sometimes I need the reminder. :)
Surnames in my family are: Myers (Meyer and Meyers), Guthrie, Guttery, Guttrey, however you want to spell them, West, Welch, Hilbish, Young, Parker, Forbes and Fusco. I'm happy to help you look for yours, especially if you can help me look for mine.
Please help me in locating Darlene Myers. I believe she is alive and somewhere in OK. Her mothers name was Maxine (now deceased) and her biological father was Doyle Eugene Myers (also deceased). Darlene is my Aunt and I sure would love to find her for my father. Thanks!

Yes, Tatum, I do need your assistance in deciding what to do about the memorials. Several persons have commented on the location you have for where they are buried. According to them, Abraham and Sarah are buried at the Hopewell Cemetery, Walker Co, Al. I understand their daughter is also there and maybe others. What do you want to be done with the memorial? If you have some documentation that shows Abe & Sarah are buried at the Lindsey Cemetery in Coosa Co, AL, will you please let me know so that I can post it on their memorials. Also, I might just go ahead and transfer this memorial back to you so that you can answer their questions. I really don't know anything about the Myers. Hope to hear from you soon! Tatum,
I claimed your photo request for Jane and did some checking on her husband. I found that James Larwell Shook is buried with her in the Columbarium. I've added the memorial for James and will transfer it over to you when I add the photos to their sites. I've also linked their memorials. Weather permitting - I plan to go out to Riverside tomorrow.

| Photo request for Col. David Myers
If you could get a more detailed description of where this headstone is at, I would be more than happy to take a picture of it. I drove by the area shown on the map today, but there are private residences in that area, not a cemetery. If he's buried in someone's back yard, a house address would be the best answer. Yes, you and I were related by marriage. I attended Patty's funeral and I know Cassandra. Mention me to her and say "hello." I'm so glad you are the family historian. Somebody needed to do it!! If you need any Guthrie info, ask me cause I have a large file. I've met Floyd Guthrie at some of the reunions too. He has a huge amount of info, and lives in AL.
