RE: Gertrude & Lieb Fox
Hi Diane,

I'm not related to anyone in the cemetery. I am a professional genealogist who coincidentally moved to a home across the street from this cemetery. I noticed that the cemetery was poorly represented online, and decided it would be a fun project.

I'm working on listing all of the Home of Peace cemetery interred on Find-A-Grave, doing a little background on them to discover their origins and parentage when possible.

In the course of studying the Mink family, I noticed that the wife, Bertha, was a daughter of Louis and Gertrude and decided to look for the passenger list. Knowing from her tombstone that she was "Beile", and that Fox was spelled like Fuchs, it only took a minute to find the manifest. Later I saw the entry for Harry & it happily confirmed my supposition that "Kryslev" was, in fact, Kreslava.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

RE: Julia Donahue
There is a a head stone that says FATHER 1824-1895. Do you know what his birth and death dates are?

All the small stones in front of the large Monument have either Mother or Father and their birth and death dates, or they have their names AND the birth and death dates. Some have the surnames have a McCoy.
I have a photos of all of them, so if you need any other photos, let me know.
I live very close to this cemetery, and my parents are buried there.
