Bio Photo John has been a genealogy addict since about 1993 when he and his wife Kathleen helped find her Irish roots in County Roscommon, Ireland. Since then, he has reestablished ties with his Italian and Argentinian relatives, with a number of reciprocal visits. He has since consumed his spare time with tracing the ancestral backgronds of their children, step-children, and 12 grandchildren. When he is not involved in genealogical pursuits, he is a land use planner.

RE: BENNETT in Union and Halstead
Thank you for your reply, John. I double checked (now knowing the exact date) and find that he is indeed in that cemetery. I added a memorial, and will link his parents and wife. He married into my WILLIAMS family - his wife only lived another 4 years. I am trying to figure out why she is buried in Richmond, VA - there is some additional family connection that I am missing.

BENNETT in Union and Halstead
I see that you have added several BENNETT names to Union and Halstead cemetery in Putnam County, NY. I have two questions for you:
Are you related?
Do you know if you have covered all of the Bennetts buried there?
I am particularly interested in David & Amanda Bennett. They had a son Charles W. who is enumerated with them in 1880 census, married, but no wife listed. He is ALSO listed in the 1880 mortality schedule, having died that year of consumption. I would think that he would be buried near his parents, but he is not listed on Find A Grave, and I'm not about to plop him there just because it seems likely.
Charles' widow did not remain in NY, and she is buried elsewhere.

Philomen Robbins
You're welcome! FYI, I also photographed other markers in the Robbins family plot, including Fred, Alice, and Philemon Jr, as well as Swan and Stillman names.

Thank you for taking the time to look - I have notified the memorial creator - a notation may prevent future requests. Thanks again, LG

RE: Orrin Savage memorial stone
No problem -- I was excited to see him there! Did you see the photo of Frances' stone? It's in pretty rough shape =(
