Since Findagrave is now being utilized more and more as a "source", it is becoming more and more necessary to source edits so that the memorial does not become the source.

Please be aware of FindAGrave policy regarding the addition of material to the bio section:
We ask that those who index and memorialize the deceased from newspapers and other 3rd party accounts do so with full respect of copyright, refrain from adding information about living people...

Copyrights of all works published in the United States before 1923 have expired; the works are in the public domain.
Works published after 1922, but before 1978, are protected for 95 years from the date of publication. If the work was created, but not published, before 1978, the copyright lasts for the life of the author plus 70 years.

I no longer make changes, additions, transfers from messages left on my contributor page. Please follow FindAGrave procedures by using the Edit tab on the memorial page to request changes, additions, request transfers, etc.

Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs, photographs I have taken of grave stones or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.
