Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm a genealogy enthusiast, a Civil War & U.S. military history buff and have always had a fascination with cemeteries. I'm also a USAF veteran of the Persian Gulf War and a second generation hillbilly (Kentucky).

My current Find-A-Grave projects are locating graves and updating existing memorials for members of two of my great-great-grandfather's Civil War regiments (23rd Kentucky and 28th Ohio Infantries, both Union). I appreciate all of the cooperation I'm receiving from my fellow gravers! I'm also helping to clean up the "Autograver" mess at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Most of my memorials are family, but I do enter military veterans and other graves that may catch my eye from time to time. If I have a memorial of a relative or friend of yours, send me a transfer request by way of a SAC. I don't follow FAG's transfer guidelines as if they were the Ten Commandments like some folks do. If you have ever refused to transfer the memorial of a relative to someone - shame on you. That's just plain mean. What a truly horrible person it takes to be selfish with the memory of someone's deceased friend or loved one.

Please feel free to use my grave marker photos for your personal use.

RE: Meadows
I created his Mother's memorial this morning and linked Cliff to her and to his Father through the edit button. Once it's reviewed through F.A.G. their links will be there.

I just wanted to thank you for your beautiful tribute to Clifford. Cliff was John Meadows', my late father-in-law's cousin.

John Meadows had a brother that died in WW II. His name was Horace Verlin Meadows.

His Find A Grave Memorial number is 36606803

Thank you for your service sir!

Thanks so much for posting the photos of Joseph Bailey Quinby's headstone. He is my husband's 2nd great grandfather, and I am so pleased to know where he is and have photos. Thanks, too, for all your efforts to document the many other graves.

Hi, I am related to the Evilsizor family and also the McConnehay family. I know a few of my grandmothers sisters and brothers were taken in by a Weller family after both of her parents passed away.

RE: Edward Air: Captain?
A Committee of the Union League of Campbell County submitted a letter on Aug. 3, 1864 to Brev. Maj. Gen. Burbridge naming 'Rebel sympathizers' in the county. Capt. Ed Air appeared on that list and I'm pretty sure if refers to your man in question. Let me know what you think.

68416263 Engle
Hello Rob - I am curious to know how you came about to maintain the Engle Gravesites of Find A Grave # 6841623 - are you family? or are you maintaining because of the military connections? I hope the earlier, I have been trying to come across the early Engle connections from Indiana for many years! Would love to hear from you.

RE: Dye's at Evergreen
Thanks for the info and link. I look forward to viewing the Dyes at Evergreen.

We are the descendants of John Dye's brother James Isaac Dye. The story handed down through the generations was that there were 2 Dye brothers in the Civil War, one on the North side and one on the South side. The mystery is who these brothers were.
