|James Yeager||RE: Duplicate memorials|
Thanks for the tip. I'll try using it that way.
My goal is to leave a cohesive trail linking family members, so that future members of my family will be able to easily locate their ancestors. I've spent quite a bit of time and effort putting the family information on Ancestry, going back many generations.
For me, Find-a-Grave is another good tool to supplement that information.
I've visited the graves of almost all of the ones that are known and only have a couple of generations missing between me and the first Yeager (Yager) that came here in 1717.
My mother's family (Toothman & Graham) was easier to locate, since most of them lived and are buried in Mannington, WV.
BTW - If you ever run across the grave of James Monroe Yager who died in Monroe, MO in the mid 1850's, let me know. He's my great-great grandfather and my current enigma.
I know where his father, grandfather & great grandfather are buried, and every Yeager / Yager after him.
I have lots of info about him, except where he's buried. I've even visited about all the cemeteries near Monroe, but so far, no James Monroe Yager.
Thanks for your input and advise.
|Rosemarie||William Perry, born 1805, died 4 March 1857 Kenton Co KY|
William's parents, Robert Perry and Elizabeth Huston, are buried in Highland Cemetery. In your work with this cemetery, have you found William Perry?
Your help greatly appreciated.
If you have the time and the desire, I would love for you to see if you can anything on him:
Name: Walter Otis
Birth Date: 1903
Death Date: 20 Sep 1959
Hospital of Death: Christ Hospital
Death Place: Cincinnati, Hamilton, Ohio, USA
Age at Death: 56
Autopsy: No Autopsy performed
Marital Status: Married
He is the first husband of my relative Verginia K, (Smith) Otis-Hirschemiller (who is buried in Highland Cemetery). I don' know if she ever had kids (might have after 1940) but it would be nice to have his obituary and find out where he is buried.
I thank you in advance if you are able to help.
