Updated 8 November 2012: |
I have added the burials of San Fernando Cathedral from 1761-1808 (San Antonio TX). The 'note' field contains some information taken from those records. The graves are now under the church church extension. At the end of 1808, the San Fernando burials stopped taking place at the church and started at Campo Santo (Current Santa Rosa Hosp. area near Milam Park).

There are several sources for this information, including US Census data.
Please correct the Findagrave listing.
I can't find Rousseau's grave. I became interested in him after I read in an old New Orleans City Directory that he lived on my block. I know several members of the Voorhies family in New Iberia.

I am tracking down the family for Carlota Garcia DeLeon and I think that I have found her interred in St. Anthony's Cemetery. You took a photo of her grave stone, but the name opposite her is blurred out.
Do you happen to have the original photo, and if so, is the name listed there "Adolfo DeLeon". That would have been her husband if I am on the correct track.
If you can confirm that, it would be most appreciated. His DOB was about 13 Dec 1908. I have been unable to uncover a DOD for him.
Thanks for your help.

|tdh||DOB date for Thomas Herrera|
I believe the DOB marker is correct. In Art Martinez de Vara's book "The History and Records of Santisma Trinidad Church", Page 111, record 1145 indicates that he was born 8/14/1891 and baptized 8/15/1891. However, one does see the year of birth as 1892 in a WWI registration record and then it is listed as 1891 in the WWII record. As for me, I'll stick with the 1891 date as accurate.
