|Velma Gomes||RE: Joel Harris|
It is nice to find another "cousin" in the family. I have a question for you. Do you have any information on Mary Harpham Harris other than she was born in Ohio? I have info on her brother that served in the Civil War. He was William Harpham.. Nice to communicate with you. Joel Harris was my dad's father.... my grandfather. Velma G.
|Velma Gomes||John C Harris|
This is my g grandfather. My grandfather was Joel Harris. Are you related to me?

Would you be willing to transfer Denzil and his line of Tully's to me (the two Joseph's and wives)? I'm trying to get them all together and linked. If not that's fine. I'm Jean and granddaughter-in-law.
|Ashley Tully||Incorrect Information|
Hey, there is incorrect information regarding the Joseph Tully posting. James Tully's two oldest children, Mary and Joseph, came from his first wife Ruth Briggs who died shortly after Joseph was born. James remarried to Catherine Burr, Joseph's step-mother and cousin. Catherine's mother Elizabeth and Joseph's mother Ruth were sisters. Being a farmer with two small children James had to remarry quickly and in remote Kansas he didn't have a lot of options. I have documentation for all of this.

I'm terribly sorry, but all I know about this man is what is on the memorial which isn't very much I notice he was cremated - I got this much information from a funeral website where he lay in state. Many times when there is a direct cremation, that is all the information there is i.e. the date of death.
Because it has been a year, I don't have any records in my possession.
I only record deaths in Oklahoma, as a rule - so it was somewhere in Oklahoma.

Thank you. I have already made some changes to Matt's entry that you might like to see. I will be adding more pictures as well.
Thank you for going to look for this one. Sorry for the trouble with the grass.

Sorry you had to make the trip. I was having computer problems, but finally got the pic out there....I am not sure if I have the paper I wrote the lot and location down on, but I will get it for you if I don't find it. If you go and get a photo, let me know and I will delete mine. I am sorry for your loss. Lesa
