|Judith Lee Howard Shea||John Dennison|
Is it possible do you think that John Dennison had a son John Dennison, who married Louisa Sylvester and then Harriet Woodman (who died in 1881) I can't find his grave anywhere and I came here and see all these Dennisons but no John, who was born in 1801 and died in 1869. The only John would have been his father. I should have copied his dates and wife's name, but you may know who I mean. I've searched F.a.G. for him but didn't come up with a memorial site. I wonder where he could be! He lived in Freeport.
From a book that came up on Google. Yes, his father was John, I am noticing. (Louisa's grave is in Pownal in the Warren cemetery)
"The Dennison Family of North Yarmouth and Freeport, Maine.
John Dennison (John  David  George [1 b. Feb 9, 1801 m. Nov 8 1846, Louisa Sylvester who d. without children. He m. 2nd Aug. 20, 1858, Harriet Woodman, who was b. Dec 15, 1821 and d Dec, 1881. John was a sea-faring man, res. was Freeport. "

Thank you Joyce. I finally found Grove Cemetery last Thursday and took several photos of my Great-grandparent's Stanwood stone as well as my Great-grandmother's sister's and her husband's. It's kind of you to expect folks to take photos. I was up to the Freeport Area with my husband, and my children also came since we have a Plummer/Fish family reunion eery year on the 4th of July. In August one of my cousins is planning to go wash the lichens off the stones I visited at Grove Cemetery. One smaller marker stone was almost impossible to read. I'm glad there is a spray that removes matter without harming the stones.

I am sorry you have not read all of the Contributor Tool, Frequently Asked Questions. If you had, you would know how to contact me. Had you included your email address, I also could have gotten a message to you that wayl
There are dozens of Everett Bass and unless I see a legal document, signed or witnessed, there is no proof.
It will remain as William Everette Bass

Sorry for the mix up. When I clicked on the link I saw your name and thought I should contact you. I have left a message for the creator of Theresa's memorial and hope that she will correct it. Thank you. Denise
|Pamela Matteoni||Nehemiah Randall|
Hi I am writing about #99020383 Nehemiah Randall. You have two headstones pictured. The largest has the inscription In Memory of Mr. Nehemiah Randall who died May 17, 1790... (Can't decipher anymore of the inscription), the smaller stone I couldn't read at all. Anyway. Nehemiah Randall was born 8 May 1711 in Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts,he died 17 May 1790 in Freeport, Cumberland, Maine. He married Rebecca Collamer 21 Apr 1748.
Is the other headstone readable? (I can't read it online)
Is it possible to make 2 separate memorials?
|Bex Allen||RE: The Whidden Family|
Would you mind taking a picture of the headstone? I am curious if it like the one we have here.
|Bex Allen||RE: The Whidden Family|
This is what I found online:
RHODE ISLAND: In March, Heather Whidden, 25, shot her son, Mingo Khalil Whidden,
seven, and her daughter, Cordellia Miriam Whidden, two, with a 22 caliber semi-automatic
handgun before shooting herself. She had purchased the gun earlier that month, telling the
clerk she intended to use it for target practice. Police were alerted to the scene by a phone
call from the woman’s boyfriend, Gregory E. Procopio, 32, who was also the father of the....

You put up a page on 13 Nov 2012 for Edward Stephen Shanley, Memorial #100651411. The photo shows a gravestone for Shanley — O'Connell.
Edward was married to Eileen Francis O'Connell who died after Edward (and right after you put up your page) on 27 Nov 2012. I am looking for Eileen's grave. Is it possible that she is now buried next to Edward and the gravestone now has an added inscription for Eileen?
If you have occasion to revisit Holy Cross Cemetery perhaps you could check this out?
Thanks for your help,

I agree that whatever is on the headstone should be left. The complete birth date on the headstone was different than what I found in other records. In the past when I've found differences in records, I've explained the differences in the bio, leaving what the family has on the headstone. The complete death date agrees with her death record so that is fine. That's what I was trying to do here. THANKS for all you do!!!

Thank you for the follow up. I agree with your observations and comments. Appreciate your advise in the future as to how to move forward in adding data to the various files. I have been working on this stuff for many years and find that sometimes the control agent is no longer working the program. Your assistance is appreciated.
