Bio and Links
I am no longer walking cemeteries for find a grave. To many add to wrong cemeteries then move them after others do the work adding to the right cemetery. To many adding lots of burial unknown then move them.
Some think rules do not apply to them.

In the FAQ's You will find sites rules/guidelines.

You do not need to manage a memorial to add information. All you have to do is use the edit tab. It is the same as if you managed it.

I WILL NOT LINK TO BURIAL UNKNOWN. Burial unknown get removed if someone adds the name to a cemetery. The one in the right cemetery first stays. As in the FAQ's, In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.

TRANSFERS

What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?
If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents)
to you and the original submitter is not direct family, then they must transfer the memorial. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact info@findagrave.com and we will work on it for you.

Please remember that there are thousands of contributors to Find A Grave, and it is highly likely that some of those contributors will actually be part of your family tree and share some of your ancestors.
Also,
The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal is to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.

What is Find A Grave?

FIND A GRAVE'S FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT MISSION IS TO LOCATE THE BURIAL THEN RECORD.

WE SHOULD NOT RECORD ALL THE OTHER STUFF THEN HOPE OTHERS LOCATE THE BURIAL LOCATION.
