I am probably like most genealogists. I began with my own family and once I got all of my leaves on the tree, I started using the ancestry records available to add short bios to the memorials I created for people who were buried in our local cemeteries but who were not yet "findable" on Find-A-Grave.|
I know that every stone I photograph has a story, however brief their life may have been. I have a special fondness for headstones that are broken, or have ended up on their backs, embedded into the earth and hope that by photographing them, they may someday be resurrected by a family member.
If there is a grave that a family member would like to manage, contact me regarding a transfer. Additionally, if you would like to have a photo or a bio removed, just say the word. My only intention is to provide help to other people doing genealogy research. You are free to use the photographs I have taken.
I also welcome corrections and additional information. Please allow at least a few days for the correction as I work full time and can only do F.A.G. business as time allows.

Not at the moment but thanks for linking her father.
|Carol & Mel Hochstetler||Johnathon Middleton|
I corrected his age from 15 to 45. Thanks! Carol

Thank you very much. That line is from the older 1/2 brother (deceased). Debbie J.

Got your suggested edits. Are you related? Debbie J.
|Sherrii Williams||Sanford Jacox|
I also noticed you listed the marriage date for Sanford and Almira as 4 Sep 1860. That is the date he applied for the certificate but they were actually married on 6 Sep 1860. Wife's name is written as Almina on the record.
|Sherrii Williams||Sanford Jacox/Jaycox|
Is it possible that Sanford's middle initial is actually F not E?
If so, I believe you can find Sanford, his wife and children in the 1880 census in Polk, Marshall County, Indiana. Difficulty in finding them may be that he was listed under the name Francis(middle name?) Jaysox(Jaycox) and his wife's name is written as Elnora not Elmira, also Ora is listed as female.
He is operating what I believe to be a poor house, with 21 persons listed as inmates including women, infants and children.
I hope this is what you are looking for.

Could you please put Marlene R. Shoddy under the "Children" list on Carl's info page? She still lives in Culver and you probably could get in touch with her for her birth year.
Thank you so much.
Hi Kim, thanks for the transfer. I promise to love and cherish! Bruce

Kim, You've done such a thorough bio on John H. Chase that you must be a relative. If not- he is a brother of my great-grandfather Asahel Chase (the younger) so you may transfer if you wish.
We are also looking for a better photo than what we now have of his mother, Cornelia Ann Waters Chase. Bruce Chase
