Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a 'farm girl' who grew up and still live in Iowa.

I am trying to leave a legacy on Find a Grave for my children and grandchildren, and for others as well, by making family stories and links.

I found my great grandmother's headstone on Find a Grave quite by accident and have been hooked on this site ever since.

I enjoy helping others find relatives' and friends' resting places. I have posted many memorials and photos from various cemeteries so others can gather data.

I create memorials with dignity and respect for those who have passed. I will remove a memorial if it is too sensitive for you, and I will remove photos you do not want on a memorial.

I am not interested in amassing large numbers of memorials. I am interested in contributing data and connecting family members.

Forgive me for not yet having all burial locations identified...it takes time to research. Also, some mortuaries do not list burial or disposition details in their obituaries now, so there exists some unknowns.

I do transfer memorials if you have information to add, unless it is for my relative.

I often try to add information and family links by researching a family. This takes time, so some memorials I've created are not done.

Please let me know if there is an error so it can be corrected. I want to have true and appropriate information.

I usually make edit requests the same day. I appreciate knowing about added posts to my memorials such as photos or obituary clippings that would help me link family members.

I am happy to share photos with you to use in your family albums. Contact me using the edit and SAC tab on any of my memorials. I do not post my email address.

Old Town - Clarksville, Iowa
Pleasant Valley - Clarksville, Iowa
Butler Center - Butler County, Iowa
St. Mary's Catholic - Greene, Iowa

(I do not have all photos posted yet.)

I added quite a few photos for McCallsburg Cemetery and will be taking photos in several Butler County cemeteries in 2014.

I realize I need to send you a huge thank you. I was delving further into the Bohner line on Find a Grave. Multiple memorials you created with photos are all my relatives at Butler Center. It has done wonders for my family research especially since Mel and my grandmother passed. The other relatives don't know much about the family. One photo in particular shows three rows and most of the stones in those rows are my relatives, at least 15 if not more. You have helped me in so many ways by taking these photos. Thank you so much.

Lizzie Knight Mallo
If you had not posted her memorial I would still be wondering what happened to my 2x grandfather's 4th wife. The photo of her that I uploaded came into my possession 4 days ago. With just the information on the back I was able to find her in Clarksville and then back track her to Alonzo Brainerd Patterson. So in one evening I was able to put the rest of her life in Alonzo Moody Bailey's story. Her marriage license to Mr. Mallo was a gold mine.

Henry Graven
If you want to manage Henry Graven Memorial 66987968 , go ahead and make the request and I will transfer it. I'm not related in any way to Henry. I must ran across his information while researching my wife's aunt here in Abilene, TX. Also the Gravens here is spelled with an "s". Thanks

Bohner Family
One more thing. Since you were able to take the photos of George, Katie, Sebert, & Roberta in Butler County I was wondering if you lived close by. The reason I ask is I put a photo request in at Washington Reformed Church Cemetery in Butler at the end of June and noone has been able to claim it. I didn't know if you were close enough and willing to take a photo of George Bohner Jr and his wife, Avonelle.

I just wanted to check. Thanks again for all your help!

Anthony and Richard Burger
Thank you for your note asking if I meant to leave pictures of Anthony on Richard's memorial. I did because there were only two pictures for Richard and I thought it would be nice to put pictures of his famous son there for those that might not know about his career and didn't think it would hurt to fill the picture space that way. I noted on each picture that this was Richard's son. That would be seen by anyone that clicks on the photos to see it larger and read the captions. I do appreciate your checking with me in case I had made a mistake.
