Dale and Corinne were both born and raised in southern Minnesota. Family has always been important and family stories and information has been remembered and recalled often. Corinne first began her 'official' family quest in 1947 when she began quizzing family members and taking notes. Dale has been the photographer and many a memory and ancestor has been preserved. |
The family project has taken both of them to interesting people and places, not to mention interesting events of history.
Corinne is the genealogist, Dale the photographer and principal maintainer of this site and children Gail, Kathy, Serle and Lisa have also been active contributors.
We are happy to make family connections, corrections or add information with a request. Will transefer to direct family members only to the fourth generation (per FAG guidelines). Very often ther are multiple relatives requesting the same memorial.
If requesting a transfer, please indicate how you are related.
The idea behind Find-A-Grave is not to own all your relatives memorials. We have too many contributors who want the memorial simply because they are a relative & they have minimal or no additional information to contribute to the memorial.

|DKJ||Carol Taylor MacDonald|
Your memorial# 105058747 in the Wildwood Cemetery in Massachusetts appears to be in error. The grave of Carol Taylor MacDonald, daughter of Carroll & Ruth MacDonald, wife of Donald M MacDonald, & mother of Roderick C MacDonald, is pictured in Memorial# 156895453 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire. Carol was my cousin & I ran across this duplication as I was working on my family tree. Is it possible for you to make the correction? I would appreciate your help so very much. Deanna Gilmore Johnson, Rio Vista CA.

On the Memorial for Deloris A. Nickless, Findagrave 61589724, she is listed as the daughter of Harold E. Nickless. Both Harold and Deloris were born in 1909, according to the grave marker, and the OBIT for Deloris states that she was age 101 at death.

Keep up the good work; it definitely sounds/feels like a team project. I look for future times when our paths cross... as you said, it looks like we share a similar mindset when it comes to honoring the contributions of those who have gone before. I know I'm "preaching to the choir", but the key is to get it started with reliable data so others can pitch in with what they know that we didn't... until they reach out.

Corrine & Dale.... just a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy collaborating with the two of you in a wide range of Find A Grave memorials.
In digging into my family history, it always brings a smile to my face to find that you have created a memorial for one of my "kin"... and seeing that you put the same love into it that I think I would have. Namaste, "PJ" Braun, ETCM/USN (retired)

I'm researching my family and came across Find A Grave Memorial# 162050987 which is Jacob Henry Hegarty in Calvary Cemetery in Algona, Iowa. He would be my 2nd great uncle and was wondering where you got the dates for his memorial?
You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have looked at information for Calvary cemetery in algona and never saw this. So any hint to your sources would be wonderful.
