Did you know ancestry purchased FAG in 2013?

I am a pluviophile, taphophile, genealogist, and good "cemeterian"!

I have completed surveying and photographed 3 small cemeteries (Spanaway Cemetery, Spanaway Lutheran Cemetery & Rainier Cemetery), and Fir Lane and do some background work. I also take pics on vacations now because it's addicting. Of course I have entered as many family as I can:)

I never say I'm perfect, so just drop a kind note if there needs to be corrections made or a picture retaken:)

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for posting a photo of my brother's grave stone. I moved out of state and wish I could visit his place of rest. Means a lot to me to see this again even though it breaks my heart to miss my brother Don Don!

God Bless,
Susanne Stacy (Sue Hopper)

O'Connor in Cerro Gordo

I am related to John O'Connor and his wife Catherine Murphy who are both buried in St. Patricks. They are the parents of Hannah who married into my Cahalan family. I was trying to establish a link with John and Daniel but there doesn't seem to be one that I can find unless they are brothers. I have a distant connection to James W O'Conner who married Anna Moran and I am in the process of trying to find his parents...

I am related directly to Nutting, Walsh, McMenimen, Hogan, Cahill, McLaughlin, and Dougherty lines (to name a few) and as I link everyone together, I am finding more connections from just in Dougherty & Rockwell. Some moved into Charles City & Mason City as well. My mother was born in Mason City and many of my family members still live in that area.

I still have a lot to do to tie it all together for this part of Cerro Gordo Co. I will let you know if that connection to Daniel exists and if you know more about John and James W., let me know...Kind regards, Jamie

RE: Turner/McClaine @ Fir Lane
William Joseph (Billy Joe) died in Tacoma. I believe of heart issues.

He was married twice, and I'm not sure if both are still living or not. He was the son of Helen Irene (Johnson)McClane. Helen married (her second marriage) my maternal Uncle, Bill Lou Turner.

There were many "issues" in this family, so I don't have much history on them.
