|I am interested in family genealogy. |
I will happily add correct information.
I greatly appreciate the FAG members that have photographed and/or listed my relatives. I especially want to thank those who transferred my family and friends to me.

You're welcome as always. But let's not be throwing that "S" word around so casually. I believe I heard it more than enough last winter.... :)
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving....Glenn

Have a great holiday. Just to give you a heads-up, I'll be out of the country for Christmas, leaving on the 11th and returning on the 26th.

You're very welcome Denise. I'm happy to be working with you. I'm looking forward to spring and getting back to filling requests. I'm getting better each day with less pain. Thanks and Happy Holidays to you and your family too.

You're welcome. Looking forward to the next round of requests. Have been lucking out with our weather and finding at least one day a week that isn't either foggy or raining.

You are very welcome.

And I would like to thank you for all the memorials you have created for our veterans at Fort Snelling National. It takes a lot of time, but it lasts forever...is it spring yet? ugh.

****FIND A GRAVE will not allow this photo( which I now have set as my profile photo) to be placed in the photo area of memorials. Why? Because Find A Grave feels it is not an image that is personally attached to the deceased.
I as a wife of a Veteran and the grandmother of an active soldier feel the USA FLAG is personally attached to every veteran, after all they fought to defend it and served under this "image" IF that is not a personal attachment to the deceased veteran, then what is folks? So to the veteran's families who I had include this flag of HONOR to their memorial it was NOT removed by me but by Find A Grave. I am truely sorry that we can't show the image of our American Flag, that Veterans proudly served under, at half mask which is a sign of the quality of being thankful, appreciation for and to honor them.
I shot the photo at the Jacksonville National Cemetery as the US Flag is only at half mask Mon -Friday when a Veteran is being laid to rest. No copywrite was broken as I am the owner of photo.

I Forgot about S on the hill. The top numbers are ground level-pretty much 4000 and above.

yep I'm back. I found out that my tablet takes good headstone pics, just not people pics, oh well thats what my camera is for. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving as well. I definitely missed taking pics and didn't realize until I went back to it. I actually took my cousin with me the week before last. She's 19 and has never been to a veterans cemetery before and she was like you mean every headstone was someone that fought for our country? So i said each stone represents someone who was in the service, or their family member. She was in awe. She said pictures dont mean anything compared to being here. Now she keeps asking to go with me :) then she had so many questions about this site. So i told her about how you and emily will post servicemen and women and their families to this site, and also bios as a way of commemorating them and she said they are wonderful people. I had to share that story with you :)

Ok, the ones that are flat markers are Q (all), R-1 (all), U-1 (all), V from about 3000 to low 9000's, P-1 from about 2000's to 6000's. I have to remind myself to be more precise on these so I know to bring my clippers and brush with me next year. BTW, we will stop the photographing around mid Dec anyway because of the cold and low light and then back up again in March.
