I have been researching my family history for just over two years now. Unfortunately, my family is small and many of those with stories to tell have passed away. I have Irish and German ancestors. Names in my family include Bockus, Block, Haas, Raftis, McElroy, Whaley and McComish.

Reinhart Family early Courtland
Hi, I did not intend to search in depth, but came into some great old photos of the Frank Reinhart farm from the late 1800s, early 1900s. So I began searching a bit about the family.

One of the Reinhart daughters (Amanda) married my husband's grandfather.

I am gradually sending, posting to the Nicollet County Historial Society, but wanted to connect with someone who is also interested in the family.

Your entry is a duplicate to Barb Wolfgram who put hers on 11/25/2012. Find A Grave tells us the first one is the one. Please check with Barb. Always check to see if someone has it on first. Thanks Bonita Meyer Meier

RE: Louis Kluck
Hi Stormy! Glad you found that you are related to Louis Kluck #173990275.
You may like to know and see that your Gr.Gr. Granmother, Amelia A. (Hogan) Whaley/Mrs. Peter, had attended my Gr. Grandfather's (Peter Collins) funeral as on his Memorial (partial abstract):
"The funeral which took place Monday with services at St. Paul's Catholic church, ... as being the largest ever held in the beautiful new edifice.
Those from away attending the funeral were: Miss Mae Collins of Kenosha; Clarence Collins of Milwaukee, W.R. Collins of eloit, Mr and Mrs. John Collins, Will Colllins, Mr and Mrs. Lee Collins, Mrs. Thomas Ryan, M. Ducey, wife and daughter of Hollandale, Mrs. Joana Kluck of Fairplay, Mr and Mrs. Andrew Crow and and Miss Frances Crow of Kenosha, Mrs. John Lynch of Delavan, Mr and Mrs. Frank Lynch of Neilsville, Mrs. Peter Whaley of Benton."

* The Mrs. Thomas Ryan was Kate (Collins), a daughter of James Collins [uncle of my great grandfather, Peter Collins # 101365190. I've not yet been able to tie this Thomas Ryan to your 3x's Gr. Grandmother or her sister, my 2'x Gr. Grandmother, Mary (Ryan) Crow(e). So their parents, Richard & Johanna ( ) Ryan are your and I's 1st common Grandparents/ancestors?
** I'd like to locate more newspaper articles/obits that give family relationships and/or funeral attendees as in my Peter Collins' did. What Hogan obits do you currently have? Look forward to hearing back from you. Thank you for digging up your connections. Maybe together we can figure out more of Anna & Mary Ryan's family history.

Hi Stormy 55337!
Thank you for posting the obit on this Kluck Memorial. Do you have family connections to any of the Grant and/or Lafayette Co., WI ? The reason I ask is because I do.

RE: Mark Mcdonnell
The Marker for Mark Mcdonnell is the wrong one. This should be corrected, so the asking family has the correct image of the correct one. Vicky

wrong stone
The stones you photographed for Mark McDonnell is not his stone. There is another McDonnell stone in the cemetary. He is buried with his mom and brother Leo.

Mark Mcdonnell
Wondering what your interest was. I am mark's great niece. My grandmother was his sister, Kathleen (McDonnell) Coakley.
Did you place his head stone. I am asking because there already is one for him.
