Bio and Links
Bio Photo My profile would be boring, so I won't bother (you can visit my dad Mitzie the Clown instead) ... and I won't list a bunch of do this and do that's. "Help with Find A Grave" has all that.... assuming you've read them.

With sand fleas and no-see-ums biting, dodging bee's, garden snakes, and one territorial hawk - armed with a pocket full of batteries - I've swept the dirt, trimmed the grass, blown off the leaves and dug out the forgotten stones. Each one will tell you a story; of love, laughter and sadness.

****************

I take pictures. Lots of pictures. Good ones, bad ones. wyswyg. Am slowly fixin' the really bad ones. Meanwhile you will know that there is a stone. Please forgive me for the flash glare in any Mausoleum photo's. I finally figured out how to do it (when I was finished)... Special request retakes welcome - send me an email with the name.
You may use MY picture(s) any way you want, with the exception of re-posting them on Find A Grave. It is my gift to you. No further permission is needed, NOR credit given. This applies to MY PHOTO's ONLY. If you feel you must give credit, use my member ID# only - my name is plastered all over the www as it is.

**************

Many contributors have given their time creating memorials for the men and women who lost their lives in service. I would like to bring attention to just this one:
2nd Lieut. Darrell K. Stoyke
Please, take a moment and visit his memorial. If the people of Eyguieres, France can build a war memorial in the center of their town to honor him, surely you can take a moment and visit his grave. If you have any information on this young man, please contact me. Thank you.

***************

If you've left me a "thank you" - You are very welcome. I really am glad I was able to help you. Now go back to that memorial you were so happy to find and leave a Flower, a Note, some Cheetos. Anything. Show them you care and they are not forgotten.

The pictures you took.....
Thank you Jaci for taking pictures of my grandparents' grave and adding them to Find-A-Grave. I was very surprised; did not know they were here, nor why anyone would include them; it is very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to photograph and post his final resting place. Now that winter is here I can get caught up on my ancestry work.

Axel Grodem
Saw the message between you and Dennis. Glad I did. Axel Grodem Axelson is a 2nd cousin twice removed. Didn't know where he was buried at. :) Gotta love all those Norwegian name changes. It's like they drew names out of a hat. Gosh, should I go by Dad's first name, or last name? Heck, that's boring. Let's go with the FARM name. lol

Axel Grodem
Thanks for attaching Axel to his parents the Axelsons. Change of names makes for some interesting searches. My great grandfather was a Johnson. His brother in Norway was Grotte and another brother was Grettum.
Thanks again.

Danke Shoen for transfer of Thomas D. Horan memorial
Jaci...just a quick note to express my heartfelt appreciation for BOTH initially creating this Find A Grave memorial AND for your willingness to transfer it over to my care. I'll get busy tonight adding some additional life details & family links.

Namaste, "PJ" Braun, ETCM/USN (retired)
