(Click the image for more.) I do this to honor and pay tribute to those who came before us. I travel frequently to explore family history and enjoy documenting family history for myself and others. Many of the memorials I've created are for people with a family connection--others are ones I've done while walking cemeteries searching for family, and I'm happy to add links, information and corrections. It's a site for sharing, so I've taken volunteer grave marker photos in many states across the U.S. and Canada. Those who follow up with a 'thank you' (since, oddly, about half do not)...'you're welcome.'|

Thank you for the photo of his grave, I did not have his wife's birth date so that really helped.

This is from the research records of Joyce Parnell Frost my sister-in-law who lives in Houston. Her mother was one of six Campbell sisters who are GG Granddaughters of Charles C. Her general references for this are "Judge A. J. Fowler, the “McDonald Letter,” part of a thesis by Edna McDonald Wylie, presented at Sam Houston State Teacher’s College, the book “Savage Frontier” by Stephen L. Moore (2006) and several more books and online accounts." She was the most dedicated genealogist that I have ever known. She made all of the Houston genealogy places and would go to Salt Lake City and spend a week, several times. I now have her records but they are massive. She is in a Houston nursing home with severe short term memory loss. My wife is going to see her this week and I will have her ask about specifics. Sometimes she will surprise you. Charles

Thank you for pointing out my error! I have promptly deleted my entry! I saw the "Father" and "Mother" on the bottom of the memorial and assumed they were husband and wife. I did see the "Brother" and "Sister" at the top but erroneously assumed that was what they were called by church family like various ones I have come across in East TX, and even in that very cemetery. Thank you again for pointing out my mistake and thank you for all your hard work here on Find A Grave! Have a blessed day! Cheryl

You have Frank Waller and Ola Waller Brashear, Findagrave memorial # 55577395 and 46293424 listed as husband and wife. They are brother and sister. The marker is a little confusing on this. Please correct this information. Ola was married to Cue B. Brashear. Frank did not marry his sister.
