I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena. |
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past three years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

I have been out with a stomach virus and haven't been up to the Fort in over a week. I'm still have to finish section B. Then I will go to C. I have been updating photos I took this fall in A. Then I took a picture of all the Headstones so I have them on file. I'm doing the same with B.

Thank you for the transfer of Charles and his wife.
I am currently working on the Magers line, my fathers sister married a Magers.
Their son Scott Magers was a Brigadier General in the JAG corp when he retired about 10 years ago.
His last station was at the Pentagon. he once told me that where the plane hit was about where his office was but he was not on duty that day.
Again thanks for the transfer.

Thank you so much for your time and effort in getting these photographs on line. Was missing a photo of my Aunt Barbara's headstone and asked a friend who was in Raleigh for a few days to try to go by the cemetery to take one. When I looked on line to get the address of the cemetery for him, there was the picture already! Internet is great, thanks again.

I have a conflict - I took a picture of Dennison's headstone in Sect A but the headstone shows his last name as Denniston. The VA Cemetery site only shows one Denniston at that is a Jesse Ge in Sect 2, site 184-B. How do we go about resolving this? Thanks, Walter
Hey Mary Ann! Thanks for the transfers from the Raleigh Memorial Park. They're part of my mother-in-law's family. I'll be sure to keep them up! - Andy

I'm back in the saddle again. My uncle passed last Tuesday. Been working on all the paperwork with my Aunt. Today I went to the Fort and took some pictures then it got windy and raining. As soon as the weather gets better I will be back at it.
