I served in the Army and Army Reserve for over 25 years with more than 15 years in the public affairs arena. |
My experience runs the gamut from working at the U.S. Army Field Station at Camp Humphreys, Korea to running the day-to-day operations of the Press Camp Headquarters at Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
Various positions have included work as a newspaper editor, educational publications, community and media relations, as well as marketing.
For the past four years I have been dedicating time to findagrave.com primarily adding records for my extended family, friends and veterans' and local cemeteries.
Additionally, in late 2012 I completed my application and was accepted into the Daughters of 1812, my first lineage society.

Sure, let me know when. Maybe we could meet at McDonalds for lunch.

Thanks for the update. Having problems with my IMac. When I crop and edit they look good. Keep me on my toes. By the way I will be gone for two weeks. I'm leaving tomorrow for the NRA Convention then to see my son in Georgia. Take care, Walter.

My pleasure, I am very familiar with that cemetery as it is close to my home. I just wander around till I find my "assignment" so happy when I find one. Glad I could help you.

You're more than welcome! It was nice to learn that he was your cousin's dad. I have deleted the memorial I created now that yours is linked to Webster Rural Cemetery.

I located Charles Van Dyne in Webster Rural Cemetery, created a memorial (161696009), and photographed his headstone. Upon researching a little about him, I found the memorial you created for him. If you would like to correct the burial information for him on your memorial, I will be glad to delete mine. Also, please note to add his mother to his memorial (Find A Grave Memorial# 161696010). She is located in the same cemetery. Let me know if/when your memorial is updated. Thanks.

I leave on the 4th for a FEMA Class at Emmitsburg, Maryland but I will be back on the 12th. Will you still be here?

Thanks for your time and diligence toward improving Naomi's memorial by linking her spouse. This and all your other efforts are much appreciated.

They are in a lovely spot in a beautiful cemetery. If you need anything else from Mount Hebron, let me know. Glad you are pleased.

My goodness, you have been busy! Thank you for all the edits. The opportunity for collaboration is one of my favorite things about FindAGrave. :)
