Bio Photo In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

John McCrae

RE: Ebenezer Church Cemetery
I know that you are aware that there is an Ebenezer Cemetery on Find A Grave. If you see that the graves that are on Find A Grave are in the one you go to would you please get the whole cemetery name added. If you don't know how to do that let me know and I will get it fixed. Thank you for what you do on Find A Grave. The black cemeteries are overlooked too many times.

RE: Ebenezer Church Cemetery
Ebenezer Baptist Church is in the town of Wadesboro and I am pretty sure they do not have a cemetery. Ebenezer Presbyterian Church is on Shiloh Road near Morven. I believe this is probably the right church. Going from Morven north on highway 145 toward highway 74 turn right on Shiloh Church Road and the church will be on the right.

RE: Polly Hight memorial
Thanks to you, and your friend, for looking up Polly's DOB & DOD dates. I have changed the birth year to 1800. I look forward to the possibility of a headstone photo.

RE: Cedar Creek
I don't know which way you will be coming from but if you come from Wadesboro down highway 109 south, turn left on Deep Creek Road, go past Beck Road and turn right on Cedar Creek Road, the church and cemetery will be on the left.

Thank you for the transfer. I visited his as well as my ggrandparents and my gggrandmothers grave sites at the Enon Cemetery, long before I knew about Find A Grave. I am so glad to have their sites with me although I never met them.

RE: East Rocky Ford
East Rock Ford Baptist Church is listed in the phone book at 704-694-3002. I have called that number and it says the mailbox is full. I pulled the church up on google and it looks like there are some tombstones behind it. I would say go ahead and list that church on Find A Grave and make a memorial for him there. There is not one on Find A Grave for that church. In the phone book it is listed as East Rock Ford Baptist Church. I would list the cemetery as East Rock Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.

RE: East Rocky Ford
There is East Rock Ford Baptist Church. I do not know if they have a cemetery. Let me see what I can find out. Both churches are on White Store Road. East Rock Ford is close to the city limit.

RE: Sallie C. Allen
Hi there! I wanted to say thank you for the recent updates. It looks like more pics of the Gum Spring Baptist church in Pageland SC were added to the site. That's a lot of information on my mother's side of the family. Great job! :-)
