Thank you in advance for visiting my sister, Sandy|
and my mother, Elsie.
I am so grateful to everyone that leaves flowers for them.
One of my hobbies is Wheres George.com
When time permits, please leave flowers for the following:
This is a poem that I stumbled upon (author unknown):
Always a silent hurt,
many a silent tear,
but always a beautiful memory
of one we loved so dear.
God gave us strength to bear it,
and courage to take the blow,
but what it meant to lose you
...no one will ever know.
I was born and raised in Norfolk, VA. I've lived in FL, NY, CA, WA, and OR. I was married to my best friend in San Diego over 39 years ago. We now live in the beautiful great Northwest. We have four wonderful children and we've been blessed with ten grandchildren.
I found Find A Grave by accident. It has become one of my favorite sites to visit. It has given me a place that I can remember my mother and my sister Sandy and honor their memory right from my desk. Thank you Find A Grave.

Strangers in the Box
By Pamela A. Harazim
Come, look with me inside this drawer,
In this box I've often seen,
At the pictures, black and white,
Faces proud, still, serene.
I wish I knew the people,
These strangers in the box,
Their names and all their memories
Are lost among my socks.
I wonder what their lives were like.
How did they spend their days?
What about their special times?
I'll never know their ways.
If only someone had taken time
To tell who, what, where, when,
These faces of my heritage
Would come to life again.
Could this become the fate
Of the pictures we take today?
The faces and the memories
Someday to be tossed away?
Make time to save your pictures,
Seize the opportunity when it knocks,
Or someday you and yours could be
The strangers in the box.
"If you could see your ancestors
All standing in a row,
There might be some of them, perhaps,
You wouldn't want to know.
But, here's another question, which
Requires another view,
If you could meet your ancestors,
Would they be proud of you?"

|c d||Are we related?|
I noticed you left a beautiful flower for my G-G-Grandmother, Eva Kraemer/Cramer. I have no info about her, or her family, so I was just wondering if you were a possible relative.
Thank you for leaving the flower.

|vheintz||White Haven Memorials|
I noted that you have created a number of memorials in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY. It appears that most if not all have the plot locations given. I would be happy to photograph the markers for these on my regular trips to White haven while responding to photo requests. Unfortunately Findagrave does not offer a convenient search mechanism to list which of the 1800+ memorials in Whitehaven have plot locations but no photos. Is there a way to get me a list of memorials with plot locations?

|Patty Valentino||Thank You....|
...Neil for visiting Sgt. Manno for his Birthday and for ALL of your visits to him. I appreciate it so very much.
If you don't mind, I borrowed your quote, "The flag does not fly....", because I thought it was such a wonderful and powerful statement to place on the Military sites that I visit... :)
God bless you and yours, and have a wonderful weekend.
Hi, Are you related to Mary Jane Allen Busby?

|M. Richards||Lovely Tokens|
Thank so much for the many tokens left for my relatives, they are greatly appreciated. You are so kind to honor their memories.
|Maureen Hains||Thank you!|
Thank you for visiting Reginald Fairfax Bolles of Cotuit, Mass.
He would have been my step-great grandfather. He saved my great grandmother from years of heartache no doubt and was a fantastic artist and a well loved man from all accounts I've found. Blessings to you and yours.
