I was born and still live and work in the northeast Mississippi area. I have ancestors buried in numerous cemeteries in this area and I am still searching cemeteries for some that I have not yet located. My goal is to complete the listings in as many cemeteries on Find a Grave where I have relatives as I can. Doing this requires me to add a lot of graves of people that I am not related to. If I have added your ancestors or relatives, I will be happy to transfer them to you as long as they are not in my own lineage. I enjoy doing geneology research and helping with this website as time permits, but I don't have as much free time to do this as I would like.|

Hi, the JE stands for James Ellie and he's a Jr as well. His Father is James Ellie Cummings Sr(55347358) and his mother is Erlie J. Martin Cummings(55347221)

Thank you .

The above listing is incorrect. It should read Adina who was the wife of William A. Hill

Are you related to this family.

Thanks for the transfer, sorry, usually the person's findagrave member number shows up on the request. I do appreciate this transfer.

Charles, thanks for the quick response. My great grandmother was a Boren, 2nd cousin, 1x removed to William's wife, Margaret Boren.
William's birth date on his tombstone is the same as his WWI draft card but his middle name is clearly "Audie". He is living in the household of George and Lucy Nabers in the 1900 and 1910 census. Another researcher I found on Google says his mother was Lucy Hinds.
The most perplexing part of this mystery is the "Jr" that appears on his tombstone. I fear someone thought they were doing a good deed by giving him a proper headstone as a World War I vet/casualty but they didn't do their homework. I can understand how this happens as my own great grandfather's death certificate has his grandfather as his father.
Incidentally, William Arthur who is not his father is also not a "Sr". His son William Luther was born in 1884 and died in 1966 per his death certificate which names his parents. "Sr" does not appear on W.A. Nabers' headstone.
