Texas Death Cert. #42109 states that her father's name was J.W. Wright (rather than White). It gives her birth date as 21 Jan 1900 and death on 7 Sep 1949. She was buried in Slaton on 8 Sep 1949. Her maiden name has been seen as White and as Wright. Place of birth was given as Lexington, KY. Perhaps a couple of these facts may be added to her memorial.
Also the 1930 Census for Slaton do not show any children, but a boarded with the last name Wright. Parents for the boarder Wright as well as Pearll (Pearl?) both show born in Texas with both parents born in Kentucky.
Hope this information may be of use to you to add to her memorial.

Douglas, I found his birth date on his Civil War Enlistment Record. Cannot find a record of his death. Do you know if he died in Slaton, Lubbock Co. Texas? Our cemetery records only show as burial date 1938? Texas Death Index has no record of him in 37,38 or 39. Any information that you might have would be appreciated.

Hi Doug, I see we share the same 5th Great Grandfather. Which son do you descend from? I am through his son - Joseph G Braden to his daughter Catherine. I would love to have more information on the family tree.

Would you know where she is buried? or her where abouts. I have recently photographed Walton Cemetery and added Myra Francis headstone photo and the memorial for Johnny Dalton. I will be glad to send both to you once I have located Ellis.
|Farrar and related families||Amazing report.|
Thanks for your interesting report. Wow. A vivid collection of family history stories.
For convenience sake, I would be deleting any duplicates as it is just easier for you to do several deletions, adjustments, than me to contact, or you to contact any other person(s). I look at who has pics of the gravestone and keep that one usually as that requires a person to go out and do photography for a memorial. More effort involved in that.
