I retired Dec 2008 from my job as Director of the Area Agency On Aging and Disability for the 13- county region known as the South Central Tn Development District. Our hometown is Columbia Tn in Maury County. I love to help people and I am a long-time shutterbug. Find a Grave volunteering is a great way to do both. My wife Eva is the computer expert that gets the photos out of the camera and onto the right computers. Please note that many of the photos that I add are taken by Wayne Austin and are from the Website I found for Maury County Cemeteries. I look there for photos before going out to take any new photos. Ed.

Hi Ed,

Eva Chappalear was the half sister-in-law (not sure what you would call it) of my 2nd great grand aunt Sarah Catherine Thomas Chappelear. Sarah married Eva's half-brother Charles Oliver (his mother was Sylvia Edwards).

Charles Oliver Chappelear:

The memorials to Eva's dad is here:

John Benjamin Franklin Chappelear:
Find A Grave Memorial# 34398009

Eva's granddad is
James Henry Chappelear
Find A Grave Memorial# 34398010

Hope that helps. Since you a direct relative, if you want to manage those gent's memorials I would email the current editor and ask him to transfer to you if possible. Hopefully he will without issue, if not you can contact the find a grave folks to request transfer.

Hope this helps,

Ed, Thanks for the photo. I don't have all the dots connected yet. So I haven't determined relationship. But many thanks anyway.

Thank you soo much for the Winn tombstone photos.
This is my Gx5 grandfather / grandmother and i very much appreciate your effort on my behalf to acquire this (and Susannah Winn's) tombstone photographs. I appreciate seeing the tombstones in the surrounding area as well so i get a feel for beauty of the area. It appears that there it is a freshly fenced off area, so i believe that things are well tended. I appreciate you doing this. Thanks again
