I am finding there are many more FAG volunteers in my area than RAOGK, which I volunteer for.

If you have a need for an obit from the greater Fresno, CA area, let me know and I will do my best to obtain the info and e-mail to you.

I am researching the following:

and allied families as well.

Ellen J. (LeBarnes) Canfield
I just posted the grave marker for Ellen. From records that I have her DOB is 2/21/1826 and DOD is 11/22/1851. She married Marcus Remus Canfield on 11/10/1846. The stone is very hard to read and I've used the following references: "Cemetery Inscriptions in Sheffield, Ma compiled in 1987 by Cynthia Tryon Hoogs" and Public Family Trees posted for the LeBarnes family on

I see that you are a Canfield and probably a descendant and wanted to run this by you.

Thanks, Charlotte Owens, Sheffield, MA

Canfields of Sheffield
I am working on the family of Jacobus Davis (1738-1797) and Eunice Bunce (1746-1828). I believe their daughter Mary Davis married Jared Canfield. Wondering if you know anything about this family? Thanks!

Meadors Transfer
I have transferred Espie, Arvoil, Glen and Annie Meadors memorials to you. Glad to transfer them to your care since they aren't related to me. I'm working on getting photo's for all of the memorials which will take awhile. Thanks, Henry Webber

Derwood Givens
Hi Jan - happy to transfer Derwood. I have no relation to him, the cemetery was down the road from me, and I documented it. Let me know if there are others you need transferred. :)

George Barrows
And, thank you for bringing that to my attention, I have been correcting the bios as I find them. George and his wife have now been updated with as much information as I have regarding his ancestors. (I have asked that his parents and grands be updated but the memorial owners have not obliged.) If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know.

George Barrows
That is a long story, changed several times for several reasons, but the bottom line is that means George appears in the 1912 Shurtleff Genealogy and he is profile #55 in the genealogy, and that is where all the information from the bio is from.
