Bio and Links
Bio Photo Looking for all 13 children and their families from Patrick William Corcoran and Emeline Amanda Alley. We are hosting a trip to Huddersfield, England 2011, County Mayo, Ireland 2012 and Lawrence, TN 2013. Richardson--in Carroll County, TN 2014. Hunter--in Arkansas 2015. We need everybody's help to follow our families trails!

We have over 14,000 family members with surnames of Corcoran-Hunter-Richardson-Zook-Moseley-Downing-King-Crowley and many more surnames on And, over 12,000 family members on my maiden name side--Seifferlein and Leyes families from Germany to South Bend, Indiana. Besides our German heritage we claim French, Austrian, Swiss, and Prussian royalty.

We made a contribution to The Ellis Island Foundation--"The Wall of 700,000 Immigrants"--for Patrick William Corcoran's name was unveiled July 2011 in New York City. We paid for a headstone to mark his grave on Laurel Hill in April 2011. These two commemorate our first Corcoran family in America. We have a 9 generation wall chart. We are working on a book. We will share our GEDCOM file.

These lines included 3 European Royalties--Kings of England--Egbert, Henry I and Edward I. The famous Benjamin Crowley in Arkansas, are in our family, as well. We also have stories of our very poor families living in one room houses who were cotton mill workers, who never owned the house or the land beneathe them. All of these make our lines "colorful" and fun to explore! Migrations are mostly from NY>VA>NC>TN>AR>AL.

We believe genealogy should be free so living family members can connect. That's why we are adding some of our data here. We appreciate this site's opportunity, and we humbly thank the founder and his staff. Please give generously to this site to keep this tradition going.

I added the Old Bethel Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.

This Baptist graveyard is abandoned. It has one half Alley-Ashmores buried there. The stones are now illegible. If you have any knowledge of the people buried here or any photographs please share!

scanned obits
Hey Wendy!
Just thought I would spread the word... I received an email from some lady hastily telling me that scanned images of obits are not allowed on Find A Grave. So rather than go through the trouble of listing my source on all of them (not that many really)I am just deleting them. I saw yours for August Beehler and thought I would let you know that you might want to add your source for the obit before someone comes along and yells at you too! I don't understand the big deal about posting obits from so long ago, but whatever. Take care!

Bernard & Helena Deitering Sutter
Bernard & Helena Deitering Sutter are buried in the Denton Township Cemetery, Prudenville, Roscommon Co., MI which is listed in Find A Grave. There are no gravestone photos for them yet. I have placed it on my 'places to visit' list. I do not know about the others you list....but possibly in St. Michael, Maple Grove.

RE: Catherine Michel Hager at St. Peter's # 118308947
I did not find her name in any of my other Tusc. Co. books. I was mixed up when I said St. Aloysius was behind St. Peter's.....It is behind Grandview Union in Strasburg.

RE: Catherine Michel Hager at St. Peter's # 118308947
She may be be buried there & just not have a tombstone, but I will check thru my other Tusc. Co. cem. books I have & see if I see her listed in another one. The St. Aloysius Cem. is on the same ground as St. Peter's only way far back at the end, but I don't see her name listed in that one either.

James Lofton
On April 8, 2014, you posted a message on my memorial for Harriett Lofton #33713896 to the whereabouts of James Lofton. Today, I received a correction to Harriet's memorial with a link to James whose memorial # is #66027726.

Note: In lieu of posting a "flower" with a message, you can use the "Edit" tab on a memorial to ask questions. There are many new features of the "Edit" tab that you may not know about:)

RE: Thank you hugs....
You are very welcome. Did you get my e-mail regarding the other Sutters I found? Are they part of your family as well?

Gaertner Photo
I posted a grave photo for Robert Anthony Gaertner. Next to his tomb, is a Ralph Gaertner born in 1923. I looked up information on Ralph on Ancestry and he is the son of Anton Gaertner, brother to Leo Gaertner, Robert's father.

Anton Gaertner is listed in the 1940 US census as the proprietor of a florist shop. Anton is on Find A Grave, but Ralph is not.

Birth Date: 09/12/1923
Birth Place: SAGINAW, MI
Death Date: 11/30/1990
Death Place: SAGINAW, MI

His grave address at Oakwood Mausoleum is 3360 E

I don't know how in depth you want to go on the Gaertners, but if you do a memorial, I will post the photo.
