My Name is Leona Swan. I am a small-time contributor here at Findagrave.com|
Finding my folks' interment and marker photos at Findagrave.com was an awesome event!
Fulfilling requests or taking 'impromptu' photos of grave sites provides therapy for myself and photo-therapy for others. Who doesn't like spending time in beautiful places? Go to a beautiful (quiet) place, wander around, take some pictures... sounds like a vacation itinerary!
If my photos are less than pleasing, I do apologize! I am a novice photographer with a new camera. Re-take requests can be made here on my Findagrave page.
Please do not take photographs I have uploaded to Findagrave.com and place them on other websites without my permission.

|Farrar and related families||The Farrar family thanks you.|
Thank you for photographing and posting a photo of the grave area for this Farrar with no stated name. I wish other Find a Grave photographers would take a cue from you...follow your example...in the photographing of the area of the grave thus eliminating future requests for unmarked graves. You are a big help to families and it is appreciated. Thanks for all you do.
|Betty Atkinson||Thank YOu!|
I think there was no stone but it is good to see what the cemetery itself looks like.
|David Becker||RE: Downs @Verdugo Hills|
Well that is to bad. Please post what ever pictures you were able to get.
|Jennifer||RE: Bertha Horn|
I don't really understand your message; Bertha Horn's memorial already has a headstone photo and although the headstone was damaged at the time, you can submit a request if you want to have it replaced on the memorial.
I am further confused by your message because I didn't create the memorial, nor do I maintain it, and I am not related to Bertha Horn.

Thank you very much for trying to find and photograph the gave of Capt John Weger, Jr. I must have some bad info... I just called the cemetery and they could find no record (as you said). So,I have deleted my photo request. So sorry to send you on a wild goose/grave hunt.
Photo volunteers like you are the cream-of-the-crop!

|James Roger Harmon (Sr.)||Bascom Harmon photo|
Thank you SO MUCH, Leona! He is my grandfather. I live 2000 miles away and can't travel there.
|Stephen Barneby||Nestor Sandstrom|
Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph Nestor's grave. He was killed during the Korean War.
This is a very nice community service you are performing - volunteering to take photos of graves - and one that I try to pay forward when I can.
Would you have any objection to my using your photo on my Ancestry.com family tree?
|Edwin Kuehn||Alwin and Martin Schlueter Photos|
