Eldest daughter of Robert Donald Herbine and Marjorie Ellen Dodd Herbine. I am the family tree maker for my branch of the family. Researching family lines: Herbine, Dodd, Bates, Dingee, Faust, Eyer, Hileman. ( to name a few) Work as a nurse in a major theme park and have 2 wonderful dogs. Would love to hear from cousins.|
I have also taken over the virtual care of Jerseytown Cemetery in Columbia County PA. I am also working on entering memorials for Pine Grove Market and Roselawn Cemeteries in Berwick, Columbia County. Please stop by and if you find a relitive and have corrections or additions for the bio please let me know. Please feel free to add flowers or pictures of your family as it makes the memorial more real.
I have one virtual cemetery of the vets in my family. I am proud of the military heritage scattered throughout my family in my direct and indirect lines. When you add them all up every military conflict in our nations history except the most recent gulf war has a represenitive from my family.

|ann ebling||Howard Fink|
Howard was the son of Charles and Margaret Fink. He had a twin brother George. Margaret also had another set a twins a year later. Pearl and Earl. She was one busy woman. I put a photo of Howard with his twin on George's memorial.
Thanks for your help with the Fink's. I am doing research on the Shellhammer family.

On the memorial for Christian Mauser
Find A Grave Memorial# 31769942
you state that he has "one documented son" and that you wonder if the Michael buried next to them is also his child.
This is from the Historical & Biographical Annals of Montour County PA -
Christian Mauser was born March 8, 1779, and died May 27, 1866. He married Catherine Sechler, who was born April 21, 1786, and died Dec. 20, 1862. They lived on the old homestead, where Mr. Mauser followed farming. Their children were: Joseph, who married Lydia Fry; Betsey, wife of John Krumm; Barbara, wife of Michael Wertman; John, who married Lydia Wertman; Michael, who married Catherine Wertman; Jacob, who married Catherine Krumm; William, who married Maria Fry; Maria, who married Michael Wertman; Fanny, who married Thomas Cole; Molly, wife of Edmund White; and Catherine, wife of Thomas Cole.
Hope that helps!

Thank you for your quick reply. I am excited about the possibility of making the family connection to Jacob Horner because I am very interested in family history and american history. Jacob appears to have served in the colonial army during the revolution. It would be a proud feeling knowing that one on my 6th great grandfathers fought in the conflict. I look forward to hearing back from you. I truly appreciate you taking the time to contact me.
Take care and have a nice day!

Can you share any specific information that you have found in your research which confirms that Catherine B. Yeager (Herner) was a daughter of Jacob Horner and Elizabeth Baum of Berks County? I have found evidence that Jacob Horner was a soldier during the revolution and I am seeking assistance in confirming my family tree connection.
