Born western KY. Genealogy research on Noles, Lamb, Lane and related families for about 15 years. Our loved ones die only when we forget them. We count the names, keeping their memory alive.|

Are you related to Ruth Aquilla Lamb Walker? I am her great great granddaughter and would love to get in contact with family!
|Craig Thweatt||RE: Jesse James Oakley @ Elm Grove|
Hey thanks for catching the mistake I did delete and added the correct one for both of them.

You're more than welcome. I'll be happy to transfer his grave marker to you if you want to control it.
I'm just a picture taker and have no interest in controlling family markers. I did take pictures of all markers in the cemetery. You might want to go look at other markers. The GPS location of the cemetery is N36.85283, W088.03879. If you go to the Land Between The Lakes website (LBL.org) find their Recreation Map and look on the right side of the National Park near the middle of the land mass and find "Energy Lake". Just left of the left end of Energy Lake you'll find the Ferguson Spring Cemetery where your G-G-Grandfather is buried.

Hi it's a small world! Rev. Bean (my mother's brother) did have a church in Warren. So that is probably him. They lived up north for awhile and moved to Alabama to be closer to his wife's family. He got cancer and couldn't beat it. Mamye Judd (the memorial you created) is his mother's sister. His mother's name was Myrtie Bean, she is buried right above Mamye in Memorial Gardens - East. They went to Mitchel's church too, and probably knew your relatives. God Bless you and your family. J Freeman Hoberg

I am doing research into my family on my dad's side and am amazed at all the information you have discovered in the Noles family. My great grandparents were Wallace and Alma Noles from Gilbertsville. Do you have a family tree including the Noles on Ancestry.com? If so, I would love to check it out.

Thank You so very much for transferring my grandmothers Memorial account to me. I Love her with all my heart. My son Gregory was in a car accident last fall, they are in Heaven together now. This is very special to me. and also for all the other family members you have added...I have pictures I am going to add...even of little Rubel Noles that died at age 2...very rare picture...only one I know of. Please let me know how we are related. My great grandparents are Curt and Lala Noles...parents of Leola...I know you are related to Noles...Looking forward to hearing from you.
|Greg Miller||David Mayes|
Thanks for the transfer. For years people, including me, thought he was the David May in Company I, 50th Tennessee Infantry, CSA. Then I checked the actual military service record of the David May in the 50th. It just doesn't add up with the ages so much different, etc., plus the record of my David Mayes being taxed by the Federal government just before the younger David May is conscripted in East Tennessee. Check the information I added on the FindAGrave memorial you transferred.
Co. I, 50th TN, CSA
May, David: Pvt.; conscripted 4/10/63 at Conscript Camp (most likely located near Knoxville, TN); on May/June 1863 Muster Roll as absent, sent to Hospital at Jackson, MS; on September/October 1863 Muster Roll as absent, sent to Jackson, MS; although absent, on 1/27/64 Muster Roll as age 20; NFR.
