I have been unable to access e-mails or messages for Find A Grave as my computer has been out of service for a while. Please be patient and I will try to catch up as soon as possible. Due to Find A Grave's default procedure to accept edits that are not declined, I am no longer responsible for the accuracy of my memorials.|
PLEASE PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION FOR YOUR EDITS SO THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO DO RESEARCH TO CONFIRM THAT THE INFORMATION IS CORRECT.
IF NO SOURCE IS PROVIDED I WILL DECLINE THE EDIT.
ANCESTRY.COM IS NOT A SOURCE WITHOUT THE ACTUAL DOCUMENTATION
I am passionate about Family, Graveyards and Find A Grave. I have been doing genealogy research for over 35 years for family and friends. I make memorials in the hope that people will find family connections both in the cemeteries and with living relatives, but mostly to honor the memory of those who have passed on.
Please do not use my public messages to request transfers, make links, or to add additional information. Use the edit feature on the top right corner of the memorial. Also, please don't put information that could be added to the bio section of the memorial on FLOWERS. Send me an edit and I will add the information.
Please send a "Suggest a Correction" from the edit tab on the memorial. Please include your relationship. I do not adhere strictly to the 4 generation guidelines, but if my memorial has been duplicated or if I am related I will not make the transfer. And, please don't create a duplicate memorial then ask me to delete mine. I would appreciate it if you would not ask for multiple family transfers at the same time. Please be patient and allow the 30 days before you send second or third requests. Sometimes I am still researching family lines and am not ready to make a transfer. THANK YOU.
There are so many dedicated contributors and people who are truly kind, considerate and generous on Find A Grave and they have my sincere thanks and admiration. Others, not so much....

|John Sinks||Catherine Riegel|
Catherine Witman married Solomon Riegel in Jackson Co., Ohio on 11 Nov. 1852 (Marriage Bk. C, p 113). She is listed in the household with her father, Henry Whitman on the 1850 Jackson Co., Census. Records of the Upper Saucon Church in Lehigh Co., PA (then Northampton) record the marriage of Heinrich Withman to Catherine More (usually rendered Mory) on 28 Dec. 1808.
According to family tradition, William Frederick Doley, also buried at Webber Campground, was sent to Illinois to live with an aunt and uncle after his father, George Doley, died in Scioto County, Ohio in 1868. His mother was Catherine Nagel, daughter of John D. and Mary Whitman Nagel, aka Anna Maria Witman. In fact, William went to a great uncle and aunt. I can prove the relationships with greater space, but the move with to live with an aunt and uncle is tradition.

Have you actually seen the grave of Oscar M Edwards listed in this memorial.
I ask because the date of birth and death are listed as unknown. While I do have dates for this individual, they came from another researcher and I've not been able to confirm those dates.

|John Mutchek||Daniel Halterman|
Hello. Daniel H. Halterman (Memorial# 118579584) had a son Thomas (Memorial# 115240098). The only documentation I can offer (scanty as it is) is the 1920 census of Williamson County, Illinois which lists 34-year old Thomas after 63-year old Daniel. Thomas was my maternal grandfather, and my mother often mentioned his parents, Daniel and Sarilda Jane. If you find this satisfactory, I would appreciate it if you would link Daniel and his son Thomas. Thank you.

Hello, I have a picture of Craig Paul Novack's gravestone. With your permission, I'll post it to his memorial. Thanks, Steve

I can assure you that my request is accurate, & extended family, related to me.
My "edit tab" request allows you ONE CLICK to complete WITHOUT needing to find & enter each I D #.
|Alan Carr||Warren Cemetery|
I am trying to locate the exact location of Warren cemetery located in Pope County, IL. Either specific directions or gps coordinates would be very useful for my family research. Feel free to email me directly email@example.com
|Judith Rittenhouse||Fred L. Hocking, 1935-2012|
Fred's information says he was born on 8 Oct 1935 on the Find A Grave information. His tombstone has two numbers for his day of birth and I imagine it says 28 Oct 1935. His obituary which is given on this site says he was born 28 Oct 1935. I hope you can make this change. Thank you. Judith Rittenhouse

Could you please transfer my ancestor to me so I can update and connect him with other family members?

|Cherie Smith||Fern Stubbe Slow|
I think it's possible that Fern Stubbe Slow, Find A Grave Memorial# 128080140, was the sister of my paternal grandfather's mother. My family has so little information about my great-grandmother (Estella Mae Stubbe-Schaffer, probably born in Hardin county, IL in 1884) and I am trying to find more. I don't even know where she's buried. Would you mind telling me where you found the information about Fern's birth and parents' names? Was it from a death certificate? Any tidbits of information would be greatly appreciated!
