Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching cemeteries in Chesterfield county, VA for the past 22 years. My purpose is to honor all who have gone before. With that thought in mind, all are welcome to use my headstone photos. I ask only that they be used with respect.
Please take a moment to stop by my mom, Lori's , memorial and leave a flower. I was so blessed to have her for 8 years.
Rachel

Purdies in Matoaca
I see you posted many memorials for the Purdie family in the Matoaca cemetery and wondered if you are related. Thank you.

William and Martha Dyson
I contacted you some time ago, and had just about decided these were not my relatives. Yesterday I found an obituary from 1939 about one of their granddaughters, Harriett who was the daughter of Lucy's sister Martha. The obituary stated her grandfather WAS William Dyson who served in the War of 1812. Since it was so long ago and much closer to the "tree" I think with my information that she was Martha Clay, the Howlett got lost. So thanks for your picture of the grave markers.

RE: Rendalls
You'e welcome! I was happy to do it. I also added and linked up the 2 sons that Alfred had, one with Hazel and then the one he adopted.

I don't know where his first wife and their infant child are buried or I'd have linked them up too.
