Bio Photo Rudeness does not go far with me. If you are being rude, I will delete and ignore you. It is surprising the amount of rude people there are here. I do this to help people, then get my head bitten off when I ask one question they don't like. What a slap in the face when I try to be nice. I would think that it would be a good thing that I try to take care of these memorials. Trust me, not many are going to get anymore transfers outside of fag guidelines.

Wow! Here we go again. If someone makes a memorial from a stone photo that they took in a cemetery, after NOT finding that person there, their memorial is NOT considered the DUPLICATE memorial. Regardless of when it was made. Find A Grave faqs state the memorial in the correct cemetery first is always the preferred memorial. Please do not make a memorial for someone and place them in a cemetery unless you know they are actually there, and there is no other memorial for them there.

I want to say, please don't be upset with me if I add another photo to a memorial you may have? Your photo may be great, but too small to see the inscription, etc. I think with all our contributions, it makes find a grave even better, right? So, if I add photos to your memorials, please don't be offended, ok? Feel free to move them how you want them. You all do a great job! Also, in the ones I can do this with, I like to take a larger photo, showing the stone and what's around the stone. I like to make it almost feel like you are there, standing in front of it. The flat ones on the ground, you really can't do that with though. At least it is harder to do.

The above being said....these memorials do not
"belong" to you, no matter whether they are family or not. They allow 5 photos to be attached to a memorial for free. This site is a grave indexing site. It is helpful for genealogy for sure, but it wasn't meant to keep track of your family tree here. Family photos are great, but if other people want to add a gravestone photo they think is better, it is allowable, whether you like it or not.

***Please do not place Missouri death certificates on these memorials.

*** Here is a handy tip for taking photos on sunny days. Go at noon, or as close to it as you can. You won't have much trouble with shadows at that time.

****Please, do not send edits for a death place found in the social security index! Last known residence does not always equal where they died.

**You have my permission to use my photos as you please.

*******I will not transfer any more memorials out of find a grave guidelines. I have found that the majority of people do nothing with the memorials after they receive them and I have even had them change the cemetery information to a BU, even though the stone is there and the obit says they are there. Why ask for a memorial if you aren't going to take care of it? If I keep them, at least I know I will take care of them while I am alive. Please use the edit tab to ask for a transfer.

My dear Mom left this earth to be with Jesus 14 years ago. I miss her so much! Velma Joyce King Gilbert and please check out my Grandmas Pearl Story. It is a true story and I love it!

Hi, I was wondering if you are kin to Bertan F Phelps. I noticed you left flowers and thought maybe you were the one that left all the info on him. Thanks so much.

RE: Re: Clarence Schroeder
that would be great, what do I need to do if they are transferred to me,,,, I found several family members, but not sure what the responsibilities are. I mainly came out to find information on the cemeteries, and was surprised to find so many of them. Thanks!

How kind of you to make such an offer. However, my software allowed me to "straighten the photo" and enhance it for better resolution so there is no need for you to go the "extra mile." Thanks again. Jeannine

Dear Diana:

Thank you for your advance permission to reproduce your Find A Grave photographs. I do not intend for my treatise to be put on the internet but credit will be given as “Courtesy, Diana, contributor, Find A Grave Memorial #

I am currently compiling in hard copy the Cheadle family history of which the above is a descendant of progenitor, George Chedel/Cheadle. My mother-in-law was a Cheadle. I have been informed that I MUST have WRITTEN PERMISSION to reproduce any photographs from Find A Grave.

My treatise is in no way a profit making project and will not (by my request) be posted on the internet nor will living individuals be included to the best of my ability.

You have no idea how much we who are of an age (I’m 87) or distance and cannot do the hands-on research we once did appreciate the effort and passion of you who contribute your research information to the Internet. Many thanks from an old lady,

Jeannine G. Verhoeks
