Bio and Links
Bio Photo ***** I am sorry, but I will not post full obituaries any longer unless they are from way back and public and I need the source listed too.

***Per Find A Grave FAQ:
Never apply bleach, ammonia, shaving cream, chalk, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, firm pressure or use anything abrasive. Do not post photos of recently chalked or shaving-creamed headstones.

**You have my permission to use my photos as you please.

It seems I have lost a half a dozen photos for Memorial Park in Sedalia. I haven't a clue what happened to them and I know I had them. But they are gone. Names, Byler, Hodges and Neff. I am so sorry!

I just want to say that I don't always take the best photos and if someone feels theirs is better, please post it. It won't hurt my feelings! :-)

***Please do not put information on flowers? I will add anything you want in a very timely manner, so there is no need to do that. Please?

When asking for transfers, please include your relationship. If no relationship is included, it won't happen. Send transfer requests and information by the edit tab at the top right of the memorial only. Also, please make sure you are going to stick with this after getting a transfer? I have transferred to a lot of people who do nothing with them and do not keep them up. If you decide find a grave isn't for you, please transfer them back to me, or to someone who will take care of them.

*****Missouri death certificates are online for the current years 1910-1963. They do not need to be posted on here, or links added to them, unless they are hard to find, as the name is different, etc. Please? It takes up space for other photos.

I will not delete my memorials when someone makes a burial unknown, or plops them into another cemetery and then finds my memorial and changes their BU or plopped memorial's location. Mine is not the duplicate, no matter when your BU was made. I always check carefully to make sure someone isn't already listed in the cemetery.

RE: masonic cemetery, Bunceton
Wow...can't really read that at all. sorry!

I do have a couple of tips I picked up reading the forums, though.

If you get an led flashlight and shine it sideways across the surface of the stone, it frequently helps read what is there.

Also, if you spray it with water, that sometimes helps, depending on the composition of the stone.

So if I can't read something, I take a pic as is, then a pic shining the light (which can be a lot of fun when you're by yourself!), then I spray it with water and take another pic, then finally, while the stone is still wet, shine the light for a final pic.

It sounds like a lot of trouble, but it actually isn't bad, and the results can be astounding!

RE: masonic cemetery, Bunceton
I'm curious about Howard and especially Mary Lutz. The photos for them here are the exact same stone as they have in Moberly. The contributor there was really nice and contacted the sexton for the cemetery who told her that Howard had Mary moved to Moberly from the Masonic Cemetery in Bunceton. I wondered if there was a different stone for her still standing there.

Russell Cramer
Hi, Diana -- Thanks for the info on Russell. I'll have to do more digging to figure out why his obit puts him in one place, and his wife is in the other. Thanks for letting me know.

RE: Annaliza E. (Jackson) Canon #67470400 are right. I just got a little confused. Printing out a Relationship Chart from my genealogy program really helps! It does show that I am a 3rd Great Granddaughter to Nathan Kelly & Nancy Lones. If you are willing to share your personal email address, I can send more info.

RE: masonic cemetery, Bunceton
No worries about stepping on toes....I'm happy it's getting done, no matter who does it! Would you let me know when you are finished uploading pics, please?? Then I can check on those last few details/dupes.

thanks a bunch!

Your Wonderful Attempt
Ms. Diana:
Thank you so much for letting me know that you could not find Fredericke Brandes' marker. Mr. Ficken had put her memorial in this specific cemetery. He has been unbeliveably accurate when it comes to burial location. So, I was and am dependant on that information. We have nothing else that states where she might otherwise be buried.
Thank you for going above and beyond trying to locate a stone. We do know she was married to Christian Brandes and can only assume she is buried there in an unmarked grave.
Have a wonderful MO summer.

I believe that you have probably photographed the entire cemetery. I had been planning on that, myself, but had not found time. (that just means I'll have time for a different cemetery now!)

I would like to verify that you did the entire cemetery. There are a couple of specific things I'm looking for, that I noted when I spent a few weeks combing the records and updating them as I could from historical society records, census records and/or death certs.

thanks for your time....great job!

Annaliza E. (Jackson) Canon #67470400
Hello Diana,

I am doing family research for the Andrew Jackson/Louisa Kelly family. I noticed you left flowers for Annaliza E. (Jackson) Canon at her find-a-grave memorial and indicated that you were her 1st cousin 4x removed. I am her great grand niece descendant from her sister Martha Jane (Jackson) Foster.

If you are also doing family research for this family I would love to share information. Looking forward to hearing from you.
